SpaceX has had its haters in the past, especially the HLV/Let's do Apollo Again crowd. But there's one thing you can say about SpaceX that gets the crickets chirping every time:
They have become so successful at this that the FAILURE TO RECOVER PART OF THE ROCKET actually makes headlines.
This is becoming the new normal; this is the space age we've been waiting for. This is becoming a world where people like ULA and NASA and Roscosmos spend hundreds of millions of dollars on a single launch and the entire rocket disintegrates just getting the payload into orbit and people look at it and think "Well THAT's not very efficient..."
