I am still suspicious of Zhaban and Laris, are they behind his dreams as access would be no problem for them as they live with him.

They always seem to know when he is and is not sleeping properly.

I do not think they are an enemy as such but they clearly know more than they are letting on.

They are endearing themselves to him so he leaves the vineyard to them. You see that sometimes among caregivers of the elderly ...
