Time will tell........I doubt it will be that straight forward.Interesting. Are all the likable ones going to be the more human ones and all the evil ones going to be the more alien looking ones?

It's an extremely long con game they are playing since they've been with him 15 plus years now........
At the very least I do think they know more than they are letting on.Sub-Commander Selok ("Data's Day") lived in the Federation for decades as Ambassador T'Pel. Romulans are use to playing the long con.![]()
I just thank GOD she doesn't have red hair or I'd still be drooling from wet dreams between the sheets. If Picard's Irish-Romulan housekeeper betrays him, I'm done with the Star Trek franchise.

If they are - or worse they are, in fact, "sleeper agent" villains - I would be very disappointed. Both for general stereotyping reasons (a trap ST has often fallen into when it comes to alien races with one character trait to share between then) and because of something specific to this episode:I dont get villain vibes from Zhaban or Laris but I do think they are hiding something.
They kind of already are.Part of me is wondering if Jean Luc is having these dreams because he too is an android...
Hey, they ripped off Terminator for Discovery season 2. Is Blade Runner next?

In this episode we are just as clueless as Picard is, he can see their reactions just as well as we can, plus we see them from Picards perspective when he wakes up after the attack so in this case I do not think there is meant to be a difference between our perspective and Picards, it is probably one of the reasons why so many have enjoyed the episode finding things out and putting the pieces together at the same time as he does.If they are - or worse they are, in fact, "sleeper agent" villains - I would be very disappointed. "No, not 'Romulan lives', lives."
If we're meant to take Picard's side, not the reporter's, Picard's Romulan assistants (carers?) cannot be the typical backstabbing Romulans we've seen so much of.
[Please note, however, that there's a big difference in hiding something from the audience and hiding something from Picard himself.]
The opening credits shows android bits and parts swirling around only to coalesce into Jean-Luc at the very end, so you might be onto something.

The designs are probably for the audience, the more human they look the easier it is for the audience to empathize with them. This isn't always the case, but generally that's why Trek does it.Interesting. Are all the likable ones going to be the more human ones and all the evil ones going to be the more alien looking ones?
I figured Romulans are working for Picard because Romulans know how hard he tries to save more of their people, and now they are refugees, and not a lot of people are hiring Romulans.
Twist: What they brought back from the Borg in BOBW2 was already a synth that appeared to be humanI really hope not. This is slightly less worse that the early speculation about Picard happening in the Kelvinverse. We want to see this show because it's the Picard we grew up with, not some android with memory engrams of Picard. Also, with synth tech the way it is, why is he in a replica of a 94 year old body?
Sometimes a little critical thinking helps to smooth things out.
And he was in the Nexus. This means he has Nexus powers like Guinan as well as Borg powers. We know from First Contact there is something of the Borg left behind in Picard, and possibly Data got something from that exchange too.
Don't forget his Bullet Time powers from InsurrectionAnd he was in the Nexus. This means he has Nexus powers like Guinan as well as Borg powers.
They should rename the show Heroes: Picard.Don't forget his Bullet Time powers from Insurrection![]()
