Mulgrew is somewhat conservative and I thought/hoped Shimerman was an independent; the others, aside from Berman, are far from surprising. The sentiments seem pretty correct and appropriate, that Trump is largely based on dividing people even more than most politicians, but a shame that they dismissed voting for third parties.
What is there to "embrace" in Trump besides racism, xenophobia, Islamophobia, misogyny, and corruption?
In particular the belief that NAFTA and a lot of other trade agreements have been disastrous (Bernie and Elizabeth Warren were and are certainly speaking the same talk and gained a lot of support for doing so) and that we shouldn't act as the policeman of the world.
If Trump were the democratic canidate, every liberal in the country would be singing his praises.
Well Sanders didn't win the Democratic nomination even though he came close and most Democrats, including those who didn't vote for him, still do really like him.
