Some Interesting Sightings for Trek Actors...

While spending time with Mom, who was watching episodes of White Fang (used to air on Family Channel), Karl Urban was playing a teen who had been to reform school. The series was filmed in New Zealand, but it was odd seeing him at such a young age.

Marc Alaimo was also in the last (broadcast) episode of "The A-Team", entitled 'Without Reservations'.

Yep, you guessed it, he played a mob gangster, having dinner at the restaurant where Murdock had got a part-time job.

He was also the first alien assassin in The Last Starfighter (he walks past a Starfighter video game which promptly detects and 'burns away' his disguise).

And was on Quantum Leap awhile back. In the Watts Riots episode. Played a police captain.

I always found Jonathan Frakes' turn on Lois And Clark to be on the of the more bizarre sightings of Trek actors in other stuff; he's just so...odd in it!

He was funny when he was on the 80's Twilight Zone. Played a fairly standard sleazy party guest, who hits on Pam Dawber's character. But he backs down and gets all star struck when he learns she's a secretary (this ep took place in a universe where secretaries are world famous celebrities).

Leland Orser seems to turn up everywhere....

*ID4 (Brent Spiner turned up as Dr. Okum, and Raphael Sbarge was an American officer)

*Pearl Harbor (where Raphael Sbarge, I believe, also turned up as an American officer)

*Alien: Resurrection

Sadly, his characters--Orser's that is--always die in horrible ways....

Except in Se7en, where he was forced to make someone else die in a horrible way...

Yeah, Leland Orser always has characters who are involved in weird situation.

The same with Brad Dourif....(who also was in Alien: Resurrection as a weird scientist)...and as Chucky always searching for Andy....and a troubled Betazoid...

There's always Andy Robinson as Scorpio. "Do you feel lucky, punk?" Plus, I recently saw him in a 1980s movie, "Shoot to Kill", along with Kirstie Alley.

Jonathan Frakes was in an episode of Criminal Minds in the season just finished (season five) - 'The Uncanny Valley'. Several other Trek actors have appeared in Criminal Minds: Wil Wheaton, Anton Yelchin, John Billingsley and Ethan Phillips off the top of my head.

I just watched Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Chase Masterson shows up. It was pretty quick and I had to watch the credits to confirm it was her. She plays the "Giggling Court Lady". Patrick Stewart shows up at the end as King Richard.

I watched Cairo Time on TV because Alexander Siddig was mentioned in the show description. I thought this was a pretty good movie. It's worth watching when it shows up on TV or if you see it in the bargain bin.

Some days ago I watched Robert Beltran in "Night of the comet" and "Lone Wolf McQuade" . Both are entertaining movies.

I used to watch Dominic Keating on Desmond's as a wide boy apprentice hairdresser. It was the British version of the Cosbys, a hairdressers in Peckham. Funny when I watched it, not so much now. Hasn't aged well.

I saw Jennifer Hetrick in an episode of NCIS tonight.

She was also in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (as one of Buffy's favourite teachers who couldn't remember her name) for about 30 seconds...what a waste of a delightful actress! She was Skinner's wife on "The X-Files", but only made one appearance, which was weird given what a significant character her was.

A lot of the actors from TOS were on Bonanza -- DeForest K was in one playing a doctor!

Also, a lot of the female guest stars were on Bonanza, too.

Of course we can't forget Walter Koenig as Bestor on Babylon 5.

And one of the miners from Mudd's Women was on 2 Seinfeld episodes playing Lloyd Bridges' son!

I was flipping the channels and just a few moments ago I ran into that old series China Beach, with Dana Delaney and Marg Helgenberger... and look who is there: young Robert Picardo! With hair!!! And he's kinda cute!

He had lots of hair in THE HOWLING, where he played a werewolf!
