Canonically? Never revealed.

Non-canonically? I'd imagine he spent a great deal of time in prison.

His intentions were good, but he got badly deluded and almost caused a second Cardassian occupation. I expect the provisional government gave him a nice cushy room in one of Bajor's nicer penal colonies, but there he stayed.

It's a better fate than my head canon about Mullibok.
