I'm about halfway through Voyager: Full Circle (section 1 just ended, and I'm a few pages into section 2). I have to say, I'm loving it. It's the first Voyager book in a LONG time that I've actually enjoyed. Pretty much ranking up there with Eighteen Minutes.

I'm reading THe case of the Colonist's corpse it's a really different kind of StarTrek book written like Perry Mason.A really interesting book.

For the record, anybody who hasn't read Dickens's Great Expectations hasn't lived. :)
Maybe, but one could argue they've lived better.... (Sorry, never been the world's biggest Dickens fan.)

finished the very good Mere Anarchy. now re-reading SCE Craetive Couplings trade.
WOO! :)

I thought that book was more fun than a barrel of monkeys, m'self. Of course, as the author of Articles of the Federation, I would be fond of Trek novels that kick in the sides of the box.....

Still reading Mere Anarchy and Warped.

Just finished the Star Trek movie novelisation.

Commute reading is Shadows of the Apt: Book 2: Dragonfly Falling by Adrian Tchaikovsky.

The stories that kick in the sides of the box are some of the best in Star Trek. Probably why DS9 is my favourite series.

Just finished Crucible: Spock - now I get to read Troublesome Minds. Next on to OVer A Torrent Sea! Yeay!

I've been reading Star Trek and Philosophy, finishing it today. Talk about thought-provoking.

Next I'm going to split my time between The Art of the Impossible, and Troublesome Minds

Currently reading Troublesome Minds and so far all I can say is...eh! Seems like a throwback to Star Trek novel written about 15 years ago instead of today. Not a bad story just not up to the quality of storytelling we have been used to lately. Then again after the Destiny trilogy it's hard for any Trek book to live up to my current expectations.

I finished Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Gateways - Demons of Air and Darkness and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Gateways - Horn and Ivory (from the What Lay Beyond omnibus). Right now I'm reading Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Mission Gamma - Twilight (this'll take a while). Next I'll be reading Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Mission Gamma - This Gray Spirit.

Dave Galanter has a lighter, more concise style than David Mack. I could see him doing well as a television script-writer. Mack, on the other hand, is uniquely suited for densely-plotted extravaganzas that could only be put to screen with a bloated blockbuster budget. Both styles have their good points. I certainly wouldn't call one inferior to the other.

Finished "The Red King" and actually enjoyed it. Just started the first bok in the "Mere Anarchy" collection.

I just finished Section 31: Abyss. I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it was, as I was really thinking, throughout the first half: O dear, generic James Bond story with an Ewok vs. Clone troopers battle coming up... But it turned out to be rather good. Especially the fact that the Ewok battle never came was very nice.

Sorry it wasn't your cup of tea. I was going for a throwback to 40 years ago. I wanted an original Trek episode in book form.

Last night I finally finished up Full Circle (Adam Bede and Hard Times slowed me down a bit), and I also knocked out Countdown, which I've appropriately followed up with Alan Dean Foster's film novelization; I'm a little over halfway through now.
