But somebody looking for that genre might be disappointed with it, while somebody looking for a biography would have trouble finding it.
Sorry to be cynical, but if they’d already got that person’s money, I’m not sure they’d care that much about their disappointment.
Except that would be short-sighted of them, since if you lose your customers' trust, they're less likely to be repeat customers and give you more money in the future.
Exactly. Where I work, if a customer complains, we do whatever we need to, in order to make it right. Because the most important customer to any business is the one that business is about to lose by doing something stupid.
That's why I get 99% of my reads today from the library. I feel much better DNFing a book that I borrowed than one that I bought.
