Finished End of Watch by Stephen King, and have moved on to Caliban's War (book #2 of The Expanse) by James SA Corey.
They're all good, though I enjoyed Finders Keepers the most.I just got End of Watch in the mail today. I have the first two books in the trilogy on the way and am really looking forward to reading the series.
Thanks Paris I bought the Light Fantastic. I really liked the story when I read it last year. You may want to check out Jeffrey Lang's TNG: The Light Fantastic. It's pretty much a sequel to this...or at least it's the next Data adventure after Cold Equations.
Ronie Kendig's Falcon. Next: Lorna Seilstad's When Love Stirs. I <3 Christian fiction, and I like Trek fiction when it doesn't stray into certain territories.
If you mean Shore Leave, we probably won't hear much there. They don't seem to save the big announcements for it like they used to, so if something like that is planned we'll probably hear about online somewhere.I just finished Star Trek Cold Equations book 3 The body electric by David Mack. I really enjoyed reading the Data miniseries again. I hope when they have the convention with the Star trek authors there will be news about a new Data novel .![]()
I just noticed you signature. My Dad used to sing How Great Thou Art a lot in church. Thanks for bringing that memory to my mind.
I read a variety, fiction, non-fiction,history, biography. I love reading.
I just received Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King in the mail and plan on beginning it tonight.
I also enjoy good, Christian books.![]()
Thanks JD I' was hoping Shore Leave would announce the upcoming books. I think you're right the new will be listed here at the Trek Lit forum or some other website. If you mean Shore Leave, we probably won't hear much there. They don't seem to save the big announcements for it like they used to, so if something like that is planned we'll probably hear about online somewhere.
Good to know I'm not alone. I review music, books and the occasional film for todayschristianent.com.
You'd like anything by Ronie Kendig if you like adventure and military fiction. She also is writing a fantasy series and a so-called "space opera" novel.
I picked "How Great Thou Art" as my signature because of the lines about stars and the universe. I CAN'T believe everyone would abandon Christ by the 23rd century if it ever came.![]()
