So not Romulans, not Klingons, not the Borg...

I have a feeling they'll go with Klingons just since that it something the casual viewer will recognize and could draw them in.

Am increasingly torn....

Really didn't want Klingons and I've always thought they were lousy villains. But after seeing the pics from the deleted Klingon Rura Penthe scene, I am wondering what JJ and Co. would do with them.

The Tholians are badass, but is creating a giant net in space really going to make for two hours of interesting filmgoing, cos that's really all they have up their sleeve.

As for the Gorn, I originally thought they'd make a great villain. But the more I think about it, the more they'd just end up being sad looking CGI crap.

The Gorn or the Tholians would be cool, but i too have a feeling they'll go with the Klingons because they are more recognisable. The Tholians could be made completely badass and could have a way bigger scare factor if they were done right. But either way i don't want the main villain to be a stereotypical copy and paste 'evil guy', they need to be someone with semi legitimate motives.

In the next movie I want to see repercussions for Neros ship taking out 45 Klingon vessels. So I wanna see the Klingons and Romulans at war.

This will bring back the Klingons as villains. That's right, I want the Klingons back as the Federations enemy. Screw the thread title. :p

Bad Guy = Another Future Spock!

Future Spock of the new timeline comes back in time suffering a nervous breakdown from the destruction of Vulcan and pledges to kill the other future Spock for it and then tries to destroy Earth for some unknown reason. We get the luxury of 3 Spocks!!! with new timeline young Spock and other timeline old Spock joining forces to defeat new timeline old spock.
That's when Shatner comes into it as new timeline future Kirk coming back in time to stop new timeline future Spock.

It's gunna be a winner at the box office.

How about an alien life form that can't sit in a chair? What do I mean? Just about every alien we've seen has been humanoid. i.e. they have a butt that can planted in a conventional chair. Even the deck of the E can only accommodate these types of aliens. Now I doubt that a Horta will ever be science officer but c'mon. Lets stop with the funny neck bones, funky ears and screwed up foreheads in our aliens.
