It's odd to see a Doctor who's not as 'in charge' as 9 and 10 were, but Matt Smith has really done better than I could have possibly hoped. It helps that Moffat has crafted an excellent and cohesive season and that there weren't any huge clunkers this go-around.

I like him. He obviously isn't as good as Eccleston or Tennant, but I can live with that.

Just switch "Obviously" for "IMO" Mirrorball Man. It's obviously what Kelso really means.

And I think Matt Smith is the best of the lot. Obviously.

"IMO" is for girls. Smith just isn't as strong an actor. That's okay, I like him just fine.

I also thought Lazenby did just fine in OHMSS, but he obviously wasn't as good as Connery.

^Disagreed. Smith is a much stronger performer than Tennant. And Eccleston just might out-class them both. Obviously... ;)

Nope, Kelso is spot on. Tennant and Eccleston can act rings around young Matt Smith.

Definitely thumbs up. A vast improvement on the (vastly overrated) Tennant (which of course damns him with faint praise, but anyway). He's made new Who watchable for me; no mean feat. :bolian:

He hasn't shown much - he's neither as interesting an actor nor playing as interesting a character as the last two guys - but he doesn't suck. I suppose that lifts him into "Undecided" territory.

being as its his first series you can forgive,
the major judgeing will happen for x-mas special and next series

Now see what happens when we agree on something? The universe collapses and has to be rebooted!

Christopher Eccleston only did one series and some people still consider that enough to make him their favorite Doctor.

There's nothing to "forgive" anyway. He was fantastic from the moment he climbed out of the crashed TARDIS.

It took some time for me to get used to him, but when you had the last ten doctors and he walks through with that cool bow tie on, that's when I knew he was fantastic. Can't wait to see how Matt Smith's Doctor interprets Christmas because Tennant's embraced it quite well.
