This news pleases and annoys me at the time time. I already own the first nine seasons and was planning on getting the 10th later this year. On the other hand, I've always wanted to see that 1961 Superboy pilot, and because of that, am strongly considering double-dipping, something I don't usually do. The price, which is likely to be upwards of $150.00 or more is also making me hesitate.

@Vendikarr...sigh not my freaking point at all.

@CorporalClegg, Shinobi is correct, this is the real Zod so hopefully they've paid attention to their own continuity and Zod remembers his actions when hosted by Lex.

@Jetfire I'm seriously entertaining the notion of getting the Complete Series when it does come out.

^
I added more info...if the price is around $340 I might wait. I got the FRIENDS 10 season boxset for just over $200 a few years back and now it is $135 at Wal-Mart.

[edit] @ AY The boxset looks great. :) A must have. :bolian:

^ I actually agree with you, the box art and features look like they put some effort into it (which is kind of ironic considering the show lol)

Are they selling any/everything Cassidy Freeman ever wore, sat on or drank/ate out of? Just me??? :shifty:

:p

Yep they've never met I believe. I am trying to remember if Ollie is even aware of Kara, sometimes Clark doesn't share things with his friends afterall ;)

So let me get this straight...tomorrow's episode involves Zod. The next episode involves Kara and at least has something to do with Darkseid. The series finale decides to have the Clark/Lana wedding...is that when they're finally going to get to the Superman and Darkseid stuff? Talk about doing a horrible job setting up the finale.

Maybe if they assume that if they fuck it up enough, that they'll be given an 11th season.

I hear that college kids do this all the time. On the final year they tank one of their exams to manipulate themselves into being just a single credit shy of graduation, which forces their parents hand into giving them "party year".

Smallville in the last two or three years has done a horrible job of paying off what is supposed to be their season long arc. LOL. Instead of pacing themselves every few episodes they have filler episodes that have nothing to do with the arc at all.

For some reason Ollie and Chloe's marriage is brought up in this interview (i guess because it's a loose plot that's unclear) and Justin talks about "Dominion".

Tomorrow's episode deals with Darkseid stuff.

Besides, how do we know it is a "horrible job" when we know next-to-nothing about the series finale? It might perfectly set things up. Then again, it might pull an "Endgame" (though, I suspect it won't go down that far). Thing is, we don't know.

Besides, the Darkseid story has been always depicted this season as more of a background plotline than a foreground one. The main plot line has been the Clark/Lois relationship and the public's reaction to heroes.
