SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

Brian and Kelly have been basically one step away from saying that the series finale will be "a valentine's day card for the fans" and we know what that means. I don't begrudge long time fans the right to be reserved and concerned about this. We've been disappointed and over-hyped too many times before.

I dunno...I think they've been hyping it just right. In fact, I'm kinda surprised they haven't been doing it more (seems like more hype is coming from the CW commercials). From my point of view, no one from the show has been over-doing it. Clearly, they are excited about it, and rightfully so. The impression I've gotten from the few interviews I've read is that they have been very non-committal about how the fans will react other than they think/hope they will enjoy it.

This is, of course, not nearly the same vibe as the infamous Valentine comment gave to people back in 2005 (although, Christopher Judge used that term when describing SG-1's "200", and he was right in that case).

Those aren't too bad. I'm loving all the Rosey stuff! You know what after viewing that gallery...maybe the wedding isn't Lois and Clark's? Unless that's Lois's dress lol.

Erica- This guy's got it bad for Allison!

Tom-They call me a what?!

If it's only her back?

No, seriously. Some people in the writing staff have to be tied up and stored in a carboot before I'd let whoever is leftover to have another round with Lana.

"Prophecy" Promo

Who's at the table? :p

UPDATED 4/29/11: Who's that at the table in the promo trailer? We're told the villains around the table include Solomon Grundy, Dark Archer, Roulette, Black Manta, Captain Cold, and Metallo. Some have speculated that the red straps belong to Giganta, but we're sticking with Roulette. Obviously not all of the original actors, so they'll probably be seen from far away.

The group is Toyman's Marionette Ventures...I was asking about individuals at the table. ;)

That's who I was talking about. Captain Cold, Black Mantra, Routlette, The Black Archer, Grundy and I guess Metallo. Marionettes? Fail.

It is really late in the game for them to bring out all these villains...but hey this is what some people wanted. :p

[edit] Smallville's ratings for "Dominion" were down 20% from last week.

1.94(in millions of viewers) 0.8/3(18-49 Demo) 2.23(Last Week)

:sigh:

I don't think he meant that the characters are Marionettes. Rather that is the name of the group.

Though, why Metallo would be there is odd given that he was last seen as a good guy on Smallville.

Ah I see what Jet was talking about now...lol. Yeah Metallo being there doesn't make sense to me. Unless Toyman recruited him and convinced him he had a better offer for him?

It is possible. Chances are it won't get an explanation (since BAG I don't think appears in the episode). If anything, that scene is a quick one and done intentionally short to get fans to speculate.

^ Yeah I don't think it's BAG. The spoiler tag states the characters whom we've seen before are probably played by other actors. Much like they did with Lex last season.
