I think the only promo pics we're going to get from the finale are going to be of the wedding and Lex's return. We won't see "Superman" (yes I use that word in quotations) until the finale it's self. Why they're being secretive about something we know must and will happen I don't know.

Here's my take on what we'll see in the finale:


90 minutes of clips, 80 minutes of which will be Clana-angst.

Ten minutes for the wedding.

Ten minutes for more clips and retrospective, in which we see every Freak of the Week who ever guested in the show.

Darkseid appears and Clark dispatches him to the PZ using the crystal in less than a minute.

In the aftermath, we see Lex standing in the background. He smiles at Clark, says, "I'm b-a-a-a-c-c-k!" A bus passed in front of him and when it moves away, Lex is gone.

In the final ten seconds, we see Clark holding the suit in his hands. Chloe tells him that he's earned the right, it's time to be visible as a hero. Clark places it on a hanger and puts in the closet. "Maybe later. I don't think I'm ready yet."

Fade to black and the credits, then we see the 'S' symbol. That's the big moment Kelly's been promising us.

This won't be a clip show but I'm guess the Darkseid stuff will be dealt with in the first hour. I still am thinking we'll get a flash forward somewhere here.
 
Yep not debating that I'm concerned. I've zero interest in the wedding. Minimal interest in the battle against Darkseid thanks to how they've prolonged it, I've high interest in seeing Lex again and seeing Clark become "Superman".

Will we actually see Clark become Superman? This is my biggest fear in regards to this show...they made it seem like it isn't even about him becoming Superman...more about Clark Kent's journey which could end with no Superman...just him getting married and settling in at TDP with a new promotion and the Superman stuff is just hinted at and happens in Offscreenville at a later date. :sigh:
 
AND ROSY WINS BY A NOSE!

Michael Rosenbaum's character from Breaking In had an adventure at Comicon this week... He wore a "Superman" sweater throughout most of this adventure.
 
^Jetfire's pointed that out in the "Breaking In" thread Guy :) and I believe earlier in this thread. As for "Superman" haven't Brian and Kelly stated that "Superman" will be a moment? Sigh.
 
A moment...10 seconds of blurry CGI. I will throw one hell of a hissy-fit if that happens. :lol: :sigh:
 
S9 wasn't too bad and S7 was pretty epic...but S8 was total FAILSDAY!!! Ugh.

Fixed.

I have to say though, as things are winding down, that it has become one epic "be careful what you wish for." I still remember all the Milfred sniping that went on.

But I'm with Proc. I am about 40% convinced that it IS going to be a clip show.

And could Schneider be Alt-Pa?
