SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

For a moment there, I had my hopes up that he was talking about SGU, but its recent ratings would keep it from being classified as a 'hit drama series'.

I suppose it could be SV, but I'm almost hoping that it's not. It needs to end with this season.

My bet is the show being referred to is "Medium."

Medium.

Cancelled.

Two episodes left.

Weird thing happened last week on medium.

There was a character on medium called Warren Cheswick.

He was a minor villain.

'Liked to duct tape plastic bags 'round pretty young girls necks and watch them suffocate, trying to escape while he held them down camcording the process... but he was killed in the opening act. Then this big actress (plus plus plus sized.) shows up in a later unrelated scene, who I distinctly know that I am in love with but I don't know from where.

It was Molly from Ed.

Ed.

The Bowling Alley Lawyer.

You know.

But...

Wasn't Warren Cheswick the name of the character played by Justin Long on Ed?

If Aussie is talking about Smallville I'm seriously done. I'm not kidding this time. Even if they do a season with Clark as Superman I'm done. It's not worth it. I'm barely watching the episodes this season as it is, they're not gonna be able to hold my attention with another season. I hope they're not talking about Smallville for Rao's sake.

As for Medium...my mom is going to be disappointed. She loves that show.

Beacon - The CW's Official Description

- MARTHA KENT COMES HOME — Clark (Tom Welling) is surprised to see Martha (Annette O’Toole) on the news speaking at a pro-vigilante rally. However, surprise quickly turns to horror when he and Lois (Erica Durance) watch as Martha gets shot on national television. Meanwhile, Lionel (John Glover) reveals himself to the world and reclaims LuthorCorp from Tess (Cassidy Freeman) and Oliver (Justin Hartley). Lois and Chloe (Allison Mack) decide to cheer Clark up by showing him videos from thousands of vigilante supporters professing their support for The Blur. Videos were created and submitted by actual Smallville fans. Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson .

So Chloe magically appears before this episode? I was wondering when U-Lionel would return. I think he has one more episode after this one. This looks okay...I guess. Sigh.

But Tes heads off to Cadmus and comes back with 4 more Lionel Clones who can pass all the same genetic tests U-Lionel can or they exhume the body... If U-Lionel hasn't already... In my brain i am seeing some one villainish dancing, WALTZING with a decaying corpse that they'd just dug up... Then dry humped it?

Beetleguice?

That could work here well.

Stargate did this so much better.

It's probably not Smallville but...

from Michael Ausiello comes this blind item:

http://www.tvline.com/2011/01/blind-item-dead-drama-showing-a-pulse/

Here’s some news that’ll excite a buncha you… and then frustrate that same bunch, because — sorry! —it comes in the form of a Blind Item: A hit drama series whose final season was announced in the last 12 months may not be ending after all! Know which one yet? I’ll give you some clues…

Though the network told the world that the plug had been pulled, apparently not everyone involved in the show was in agreement about that. In fact, to this day, talks are ongoing behind scenes to extend its run, one way (in its current form) or another (in a tweaked form or even as a series of TV movies).

CW has got to air something with more than a million viewers, don't they?

I hope it is Life Unexpected...LUX needs a TV movie or something...I don't think they can end it right with the eps they have in Jan...for real it needs a 3rd season...this show got screwed.

Smallville needs to end now...no TV movies...end it proper...in May.

Wow. I'm surprised they'd actually air this. Usually networks chicken out in these situations.
