If it is Callum Blue is playing season 9 Zod...no dice if it is Callum Blue playing Phantom Zone Zod...it might be interesting...Callum Blue had some good moments but the Zod he was playing wasn't written well and was boring. When MR was playing Zod in Lex's body they wrote that better than they did for CB. JMHO.

I shouldn't have been so dismissive in my reaction to that. It is still possible to see Zod in whatever form they wish to show him...flashbacks (like Lana will most likely be shown), as you suggested Jet Phatom Zone General Zod, or somehow showing Major Zod on their new world.

I have no interest in "Major Zod" I think it would be interesting to see CB as PZ Zod. The Kandorian arc was horrid and I can tell they know this and Zod making a return is further evidence they want to fix it...hopefully...I think also Flashback Lana is the way to go with out messing up KK/Lana any further.

I didn't get to comment on this old news...but Teri Hatcher FTW!!! I knew there was something to having that one actress auditioning for the role...I posted.

Yep that was the huge casting news they had been holding on to last week and it turned out to be a doozy. Frankly I think Zod should stay in the Phantom Zone until Clark deals with him as Superman.

Brian and Kelly just can't stop talking about Smallville...another interview, this time from Newsarama. Seems we're going to get a mid-season cliffhanger again.

Well yeah, thats sort of a staple of Smallville. Then they come back in March or April.

I don't have a link but I read KS & BP talking about mid season game changers and some other crazy stuff...this whole season is going to be interesting unlike S8 & 9 where there wasn't much to get excited about...S8 had Tess & The Legion...but Doomsday was a bust...S9 had Metallo, JSA & The Blur with an \S/ but the Kandorians were a bust.

Can't believe we've made it through another summer. The thread once again has served it's purpose and entertained us through the long dark! Now the question is what to do with it since the show will be starting tonight? Have a mod lock it? Continue it? Or let it die? LOL>

Kill it. We could start a spoiler thread in it's place. What will we do next Summer when there's no more smallville to have a this thread for.
