Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

I was led to believe in classics class back at school that the Amazons hunted and raped the local males till they assumed they were pregnant and then if the babies turned out to be male, the kids were left in the elements to die.

The imganarium issue of JLA was Joe kelly (I think?)'s last issue after he'd spent three years of will they won't they Ross and Rachelling with Bruce and Diana, trying to get it all out of the way before the next people took over the book.

Considering Wonder Woman is animated clay, a Gollum even, it's a wonder that the breath of Zeus which gave her life thought about including a reproductive system, but then these days when she becomes Diana Prince, her civilian identity, a government spy in charge of policing metahumans, she becomes completely human and vulnerable... Does Diana want to have children as a metahuman or as a human?

That was an awesome article by Craig...and I agree with everything there (I especially liked number 4 and number 7) and to be honest I'd be fine with Craig getting a cameo. His pic for Diana works for me even though I've never seen her in anything (never watched Legend of the Seeker but am a huge fan of the books). I'd add Kara onto the list. I've said it before but outside of Bruce, Diana is the character I'd love to see incorporated into the Smallville verse.

God I hated everything about that sequel...maybe Guy will remember the TrekBBS Vs Frank Miller thread we had where we put Miller on trial for the crime of "The Dark Knight Strikes Again" and I can't remember who the prosecutor was or the defense but it was a great thread.

08. Return of Lex Luthor(Michael Rosenbaum)
09. FIX LANA!!! Somehow restore her to her S1-S5 Glory!!!
10. A 3 Hour Finale on like Sunday night...like 7pm-8pm A look back and then from 8pm-10pm the best 2 hours of SMALLVILLE ever!!!



I would also like to add somehing with Jonathan Kent, Martha & Perry...you know what...bring back John Glover as Lionel to do something...make it a dream...hell go back into a older episode like where Jonathan & Lionel can appear...something...and while were at it...Bring in Whitney.

I think we should not even consider #5. We only have one season and only so many hours of show left. Do not waste it on offshoot heroes, unless they are integral to the story of Clark becoming Superman

My wish is for the CW to promote the hell out of the finale like "LOST" followed by a two hour retrospective

Brian Peterson- What is the Clark Kent?
Kelly Souders-Those are some of the mysteries left
Brian- Then Jacob choose Clark as a Candidate.

Followed by the finale where Clark visits the warehouse of people he killed

Ryan- We've been waiting for you.

^ They will never do that and LOL. Also there are 22 episodes...plenty of time to have an impact full filler episode or two why not fill it with a JLA guest star? Smallville has proven many times in the past that they're filler episodes are uninteresting if they really want to capture the fans attention this season and give them something to watch then they might as well maximize this opportunity.

I just finished reading "Adventure Comics#12" and OMG it was better than all nine seasons of Smallville combined. I absolutely love this incarnation of the Legion that Geoff Johns retconned and that Paul Levitz is handling right now. I'm currently on a major Legion binge so I'm devouring everything that I can including old classic Legion stuff I can find at the library. I highly recommend picking it up.

I loved the Legion Of Superheroes cartoon...kinda wish they had gone with a 3rd season.

I think the concept would have worked great with SMALLVILLE...having Clark in seasons 8, 9 and 10 go off to the future and work with the L* and learn about the hero he is going to become.

For some reason I think we could get Kristen back for an episode or two just because I can't get Tom's comments about wanting the theme to be reunion. Leave it to Smallville though to bring her back in a totally irrelevant way when she could have actually been USEFUL for maybe the first time in her character's life last season.

Only if Lana and Lex hook up again.

Almost every episode this season I've said to myself, Oh, if only Lana didn't hate Clark for some reason she'd be here to sort this Zod mess out.

If she hates Clark, she might have forgiven Lex and the series ends with with the two of them (literally) standing on Clarks face declaring the world as their fricking oyster.

Lexmas is one of my favourite episodes. When he had that dream about living a poor life with Lana, Pa Kent saying that he admired and respected the man that Lex had become and that Chloe and Clark had hooked up and were probably wondering if they could make alienhybrids the old fashioned way...

What happened after, in (closer to) reality, when they tried to figure out how to back out of the situation they had created was a bit off.

A little better than that the drop dead gorgeous billionaire had to trick the waitress 5 years his junior still on the cusp of being a childhood into accepting his wedding proposal.

I believe Lana was carrying her clone and then Lex took it.
Lex got what he wanted someone Clark loved...the sad thing is Clark should have told Lana the truth...like S2 and then the mess could have been avoided.

[edit] I don't think Lana ever trusted Lex...after being hurt by Clark she really was easy prey for Lex.
