Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

Here is an image that is just a screencap nothing has been enhanced.

capture_02082010_120613.jpg

Again...if there is color there it is faint. It does look like the red and yellow shield.

I thought so...my image above I capped myself and did nothing to it...you can see the yellow kind of and the S is dark.

One of the images on superherohype looks shopped to look like the white S...like I said I capped mine from the trailer and it wasn't enhanced.

Laura's Supergirl outfit looks very much like the one Helen Slater used in the Supergirl flick which would make for some good synchronicity since Slater of course played Lara Zor-El in season eight.

A nice nod to the movie, to be sure. I too, am liking Laura's outfit, all that's really missing is a cape and the House of El crest.

OTOH, we may see it at the end of her ep (hopefully).

I wonder if the Kandorians will come up in conversation between Clark & Kara? I am sure the writers have forgotten by now.

^

Kara: You mean I've spent two years searching the universe for the Kandorians, and all this time they were here on Earth?

Clark: That's right.

Kara: Well, where are they now?

Clark: I sent them to another planet, I don't know which one.

Kara rolls eyes, promptly kicks Clark out the barn-loft window.

Kara: What a douche.

Really Proctus? i agree he's a deush, but I was thinking the other way around, Clark claiming his deushoodness from a contravening angle.

"Kara. I found them! I found our people! I found the Kandorians!"

"Nu-ha... they're clones."

"They're Kryptonian Clones!"

"Do you know what clones are?"

"What?"

"Spare parts. if some thing happens to a real person, you cut up their clones at the organ bank and make them all better no matter what sort of offal you;re left over in the back screaming like it has feelings wondering where it's eyes are. See this leg... Not the leg I was born with, neither is the kidney on this side or this thumb.. . Every Kryptonian is cloned at least three times shortly after birth in preparation for the most unexpected life has to offer. Your father went through 7 livers before every thing went cockeyed... The house of El, we're all inveterate alcoholics, and if not for this damn yellow sun you would have already figured that out, or did you think that that AI you pretend is a person up north is less stable than J... Great Rao, you don't think that that help menu on the Fortresses desktop with your fathers voice is alive too?"

I doubt the clones will come up again in a conversation between them, maybe just a throwaway line. "Kara, I found our people but they turned out to be clones and even though I tried to save him like my father suggested I do...Zod turned against me and so I sent him to another world. It was the only solution since we couldn't contact Lana and you were out in space." Kara gives him a blank stare in response. "Out in space? Clark do you see my get up? I look like a brunette version of Hilary Duff. I've been investigating evil stuff here on Earth, some kind of alien invasion is coming Clark and I've been trying to stop it (not so subtle reference to V as well as the New Gods). I discovered something dark is coming to Earth Kal...and you need to be ready to stop it and I can clearly see that you aren't."

By the time we've reached episode 3 all traces of last seasons woes are forgotten ;)

Question: You tell us that Erica Durance is playing Isis on Smallville and you don’t elaborate? WTH? —Steve
Ausiello:
Do you still not understand how this works? Ausiello TV is where the seed gets planted, and Ask Ausiello is where we watch the flower grow. Put another way, Ausiello TV is the foreplay to Ask Ausiello’s full-on shag. So whaddaya say we get down to business? “It’s an inhabitation story,” explains exec producer Brian Peterson of the Lois-Isis connection. “Lois is actually going to be possessed by the spirit of Isis.” Was it good for you, Steve? BTW, quick clarification: Smallville‘s Isis isn’t the DC Comics character Isis. It’s the Egyptian goddess Isis with a nod to the DC Isis. Understand? Good, now explain it to me.

Question: Anything on Chloe’s return yet on Smallville? —Maria26
Ausiello:
Allison Mack will appear in the premiere and then return “in the middle of the season in a very impactful way in Clark’s life,” reveals Peterson. “It’s a great wrap-up to her character, and it also dovetails into the Chloe/Oliver relationship.”

So by midseason all five of Allisons appearances are done?

Yes it is

@alseptien Hey Al will Allison's episode be spread throughout or back to back when she comes back? Thank you.
@Point0fn0return Probably spread, but don't know yet.

@alseptien Right, I meant I know she is in 5. Is it 5 consecutive?
@desichick81 No. They're spread out. But I don't know how yet.

Episode 1

Then 4 episodes back to back that fans will call the "Allison Mack/Chloe Sullivan arc"

Smallville seems to love doing "in habitation" storylines...geez why not just call it possession Brian we know what you mean. This Isis thing seems lame to me...don't know gut reaction but I might skip that particular episode.

Funny, I was wondering how and where her five eps would fall in the schedule. I had kinda figured she'd be in the Season Premier, than be out of sight for the remainder of the season until the final four eps and return for the big finish.

Most curious.

Maybe they can use flash backs of Chloe from seasons past...like remembering something, Lois remembering...Oliver...etc.

Worked for FRIENDS.

Or maybe there's an accident and Chloes soul inhabits a woman with really large sweater puppies?

Actually, an Episode of Erica with Chloe's dialogue could be hilarious.

Or what if she became invisible and mute?

Everyone turns 25? Lois moves and they remember all the great times in the Talon apartment...barn flash backs...best of Chloe(Everyone remembers her while she is gone).
