But the red hair was certainly nice. I mean, I always thought the "exotic red head" angle was part of Lana's core characterization.

Absolutely. I mean, Clark and Lana's "rommance scenes" had all the chemistry of a glass of distilled water. They played their scenes like they had just all came out of comas.

Clark and Maxima's scene was just HOT and wild. It was alot like Red-K Clark and uhhh... teleporting blonde. It just had a lot of chemistry, passion and fire to it.

Yup. I think Alicia was one of Al/Miles biggest mistakes. Had they had any sense at all they would have made her a semi-regular. At least for season four. (She could have added a whole extra dimension to "Commencement.") Plus, Sarah Carter as great screen presence. Her smile is amazing.

It isn't like he should cost that much to hire for an episode, the actor who played him spent the last couple of years as a substitute drama teacher after getting his degree in 2006, and is now teaching full time in Vancouver. So I put his absence down to sloppy writing and continuity.

The last time I saw Robert Wisden was in Season Two of Battlestar Galactica, where he played an advisor to Laura Roslyn. But yeah, it's like he's fallen off the radar here on Smallville.

I guess I need to see a picture of this guy.

Excellent. This show really knows how to sex it up and I love 'em for it. All of our hot ladies got some good screen time. First we have Lois... I'm happy to see something serious developing between her and Clark at last. Then we have Chloe... I don't buy that she's over Clark. I also think that she's gonna have a falling out with Jimmy. It's clear that they aren't a couple. Not really. We also had our newcomer Tess continuing to be a superb female Lex. Finally, there's Maxima. I don't know much about her, but it's nice to see more of DC's gang show up on Smallville. She's a fascinating character and I can't wait to see more of her. Charlotte Sullivan did a great job in the role. She was hot too in both her outfits. A lotta leg that's for sure. All around, I think she's almost as good a guest as that Angel of Vengeance was. Too bad Clark didn't get some before she had to go. This was his chance since he's not with Lois yet. Oh well.

Okay, I have to read all 168+ posts in this thread, but before I go, I have one question... Why is the Talon set still around? It's not like they need it as a highschool hangout anymore. Chloe needs to move to the city.

I'm a guy, but even I can see that Chloe could do alot better than Jimmy Olson with every pretty boy of the week coming on the show. You'd think she'd be chasing after Oliver Queen(not that she has a chance) with him being a billionare with a good bod(not that the bod matters in that case).

Didn't think of that. Good catch. If they were doing a Bruce Wayne series, she would have made a great Poison Ivy with that look.

I was wondering how they'd save him. More specifically, I was wondering how Clark would find an antidote and adminster it within two minutes. I really was thinking that. It is Smallville...

As far as the whole "X" thing, I'm with the Chloe/Brainiac suppressed personality theory. Not overly original and kinda obvious (Has there been a sci-fi show that hasn't done this?), but I guess it works.

This got a Below Average from me. It was saved from a BIZARRO simply because the scene I predicted (the standard CW-enforced Smallville scene where Maxima beats - a probably shirtless - Clark up) didn't happen.

I would have liked a scene between Maxima and Davis though, given that Maxima was the only other member of the Justice League to put up a fight against Doomsday.

There were a couple things I didnt like about Maxima. First she needs to tan those pale white thighs and 2nd...
Is the Maxima character supposed to have a clearly visable fuzz mustache? At first I thought she had just gotten done taking a big drink off some red cool-aide but then I saw a close up of her face from the side and I could see that it was just a female mustache. Couldnt they have made her atleast shave it for the episode? Unless it was supposed to be there? Was it?
I bet she has big hairy nipples too. Yuck...

No, sometimes I vote "SUPER".

I almost always get what I expect out of the show. It's Superman, it's flashy, it has good cast members and guests that include a lot of hot ladies and it does give us some good content in its stories.
