Below average. B-O-R-I-N-G. I watched it for grins and was interrupted by two telephone calls. Had the phone rung during Supernatural, I wouldn't have answered.

That Charlotte Sullivan chick is gorgeous! Red hair and everything.

Where the hell was she when they were casting Lana Lang?

As far as the whole "X" thing, I'm with the Chloe/Brainiac suppressed personality theory. Not overly original and kinda obvious (Has there been a sci-fi show that hasn't done this?), but I guess it works.

No shit. I'd be all for Clark pining for her and being a whiny bitch about not getting with Lana.

But he Gough and Millar had their hard one for Kreuk.

Hot, yes. But I don't think she's a natural redhead.

She was heart-stoppingly gorgeous as the red-head in Smallville.

I mean. She was just...

    God, that would be funny!

Also, why did Maxima "miss" her landing spot? Shouldn't she have landed where the beacon emanated from? "Missed it by that much!"

On a galactic or even universal scale she was right on target.

And it isn't just the red head thing, (It was obviously not natural.) but the fact that she showed more chemistry with Welling in that short elevator scene than Kreuk did in seven years.

But the red hair was certainly nice. I mean, I always thought the "exotic red head" angle was part of Lana's core characterization.

The most surprising thing in the episode: no tie in with the Nissan Maxima.

This show is very strange with how they write off characters. At least Nell returned for Lana's funeral.

Apparently though, the actor who plays Gabe has played disappearing characters before. On Galactica, he played Wallace Gray in Colonial Day. You might remember that one...he played Roslin's "top advisor" the "power behind the office" and her original choice for VP who was apparently so important that we never heard about him until that episode. We would never hear about him again after that episode either.

You know, I don't think Ollie sent Tess the dress. It was probably sent by whoever stole the crystal from Tess.

Of course not. Chloe would have had to scrap the Yaris and buy a new car and given Clark a ride while he was yet again temporarily without his powers.

The last time I saw Robert Wisden was in Season Two of Battlestar Galactica, where he played an advisor to Laura Roslyn. But yeah, it's like he's fallen off the radar here on Smallville.

I guess I need to see a picture of this guy.
