I know it's not fair to judge by a title but "Sherwood" bugs me, it's just so blatant (not quite the right word but you get the idea). It's like a show about space knights called "Camelot" or something. It's hard to picture a good show attached to it.

Orion sounds great, but then I just think to myself, "why the fuck don't they just make more firefly?"

Nah, a new Firefly could only be a disappointment better to leave it as a special little nugget out there and create a spiritual successor.

Orion is space opera, so I'll give it a chance. The only entry in that genre at the moment is Stargate Universe--and it's pretty awful. And yet I still watch it.

Legendary might be amusing if it adopts the tongue in cheek mocking of, say, My Name is Bruce.

The superhero break-up series sounds awful, though. It sounds like the premise of a movie (and not a very good one), not a continuing series.

For Orion, I suddenly remembered that Katee Sackhoff's pilot wasn't picked up. She's the natural choice for the lead role, what with the existing fanbase. And to be brutally honest, Claudia Black is now too old and wrinkly to headline a skiffy show. They'll got for a younger, hotter actress.

The American accent was toxic.

Her arms were so thin.

Didn't like the tattoos either, but I assume that they were not real.

"Old" (relatively speaking.) people think they have to be thin to look young.

I was reviewing some Brisco County Jr last night and The Blonde Mommy (Lilly/Dixie) from Gossip girl looks a lot better with filled out cheeks and some badonkadonk.

All of the shows will be craptastic like only Syfy can do. The budgets will be extremely low. I like Kevin Sorbo and Lee Majors, but those won't last as a series.

A new Firefly would not be able to get many of its cast members back. Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau, Morena Baccarin and Adam Baldwin all have new shows. Jewel Staite probably has some show I haven't paid attention to. Adam Tudyk is always getting cast in pilots and will be snapped up soon if he already hasn't been.

Would Browncoats be happy with a largely recast reboot?

I'll take Orion and Sherwood, any show that is off-Earth is at least potentially interesting.

But I want that freaking "Revolutionary War in the Future" show that was being tossed around a few years ago....

Orion & Sherwood do sound sort of interesting. We'll see what we get I suppose.

Yep, I believe the pilot even aired in the UK, but it's still made no appearance here.

Well at least you won't have to change the channel for WWE.

I am willing to give Orion and Sherwood a chance. Hopefully at least one of the two will be decent. Of course I still would rather have SyFy greenlight Revolution.
