This Sunday they will be interviewing Dan Curry talking about Special affects and Dagger fighting. This sounds really intriguing.
Highly recommend everyone to check out this interview. Dan is fascinating to listen to, not only because of the life he has lead but because he was involved in so many different aspects of Star Trek.

This past week they had Bonnie Gordon on the show discussing Amok time This Sunday they will Be interviewing Garret Wang on the Shuttle pod he and Robert Duncan McNeil Interviewed Connor on their podcast a few years ago.

I just listened to the interview with Garret Wang he talked about being an Asian actor the challenges of getting roles in Hollywood and being on Voyager and being in the movie Crazy Rich Asians.

I was listening to the Terry Matalas interview at work. He seems like a good dude. I haven't watched Picard but I enjoyed the first season of Twelve Monkeys, but more i just like hearing production people talk about how and why something is.

Yes enjoyed listening to Terry Matalas talking about working on Enterprise and the other shows like 12 monkeys and filming certain shows.

This week on the Shuttle pod show Lolita Fatjo will be on their show it will be interesting to see her talking about Star Trek on their show.

Very interesting episode. Some people in the YouTube comments didn't seem to like what she was saying about Marc Alaimo. It seemed innocent enough to me.

I do think though, that Lolita exaggerates the story about the Sisko/Dukat punch. One actor accidentally punched the other, and he went to the hospital to make sure he was okay. ...the way she tells it implies a real proper fight between the two.

I don't think it's a big deal, but stories get tweaked a little sometimes when conversation happens.

Edit: I just saw the comment you mentioned. Looks like whoever runs the comments section is pushing back, but without spelling Marc's name right. :D

This week's show has director Merri D Howard and she talked about the season 2 Enterprise show when Connor got injured by John Billingsley's stuntman double wearing the astronaut costume. During a botched fight scene that went wrong when they were filming it. She had to take Connor to the hospital and he had to have Stitches .Merri told alot of interesting stories while working on different Star trek series and working with Gene Roddenberry.

This week Shuttle pod show has done 3 shows the first was about the actors strike with John Billingsley and Michelle Hurd 2The next interview was with Rod Roddenberry I really thought this was one of their best interviews yet. Rod Talking about his parents and Star Trek history was fascinating to listen to. He's working on a documentary about Gene Roddenberry and a tv series about his father's life . The third interview is with the Okudas this one my favorite interviews they've done talking baout working on Star trek tv series and with Nasa.

This week Shuttle pod show interviewed Doug Drexler talking about on Dick Tracy and winning an award and He's so his stories are great to listen to. They've been hitting it out of the park with these recent interviews the last few weeks.:bolian::luvlove: He talked about Terry Matalas wanting Doug to come back to design the Enterprise D bridge for Picard season 3.

The Tim Russ episode was really fun. I wanted to have a theory that Roddenberry hated Spaceballs and didn't want actors from that appearing in Trek and that's why he never brought in Tim but I looked and the timeline doesn't add up. I know there's an element of fandom that dislike Rick Berman and maybe it's deservedly and I've talked shit about him staying on too long, but I do like when he does get praised for things that he did right, like bringing in actors. I kinda wish they'd talked about Tim's prior roles on Trek before Tuvok but admittedly I'm not sure what that would add up to. "So you played a Klingon and a couple of humans? How was that?" "Good." "Okay, moving on." When they were all geeking about guitars I was like "Oh so THAT'S what it must be like to an outsider being in room of Trekkies."

Tim Russ is always very respectful of Rick Berman. In every interview I've seen with him (I haven't watched this one), he always calls him 'Mr Berman'.

This weeks Shuttlepod show continues the second part of their interview with Rod Roddenberry.

Random question but they never been able to get Scott Bakula on there? They always speak so fondly and admirably of him. I'm surprised he hasn't been a guest, yet.

I think it might just be timing and availability. I haven't watched all the eps but they seem to do it in LA and the guest is actually present so they probably want to wait to have them all in the one room. Scott seems to be working all the time. If they did zoom calls maybe he'd appear.

They wanted to get Scott on their show and Jolene Blalock too but things haven't worked for that yet. Today they're recording their interview with Robert Duncan McNeil. They've waited along time to be able to interview him. I liked Tom Paris on Voyager and it will be cool to hear his stories about working on Voyager and directing Enterprise and other tv episodes.
