Should they use the TOS fight music in the movie?

If they do use that music, they HAVE to have a Gorn... it's just the way things are... if you use that theme, have a Gorn! :D

Of course, they won't use that music, but it would still be cool to hear it again.

But if we use a Gorn, it has to be cheesey TOS style Gorn, complete with the grunts and growls and whistles. ENT's CGI Gorn was a major let-down.

The game Final Fantasy VII has very old styled music compared to todays standards, but with the release of the sequal movie Advent Children they took a lot of the older music and reinvented it to modern standards... and it sounds brilliant.

I hope they do the same with the TOS music, make it less orchestral and more rockish. Reinvent it for the next generation.

I'm sorry, I'm still getting over the Uhura blaxploitation flick on another thread.
It's been nearly 35 years. If you're not over it by now, I don't think that there's a lot that can be done for you, at this point.

If the music in Mission: Impossible III is any indication, I wouldn't put it past Abrams. There were some cues in there that sent me back. It definitely put a smile on my face.
