Just a friendly perspective reminder: an internet poll of 83 people has exactly dick-all to do with sales or large-scale fan preferences, regardless of which way it goes.
Exactly.
And even for informational purposes this poll is pretty useless since it doesn't show who voted for what, so for all we know a motivated individual could create countless duals and screw the vote to his/her liking.
AND, while we're at it, right now it's essentially tied. Even if each person in the poll is unique, and has 20 other friends who have exactly the same opinion who aren't showing up on here, and every person that voted would only buy books featuring the plotline they voted for, the poll indicates that from that entire group of 1700 people, there's a total sales swing of 80 copies depending on which choice is made. Meaning there's essentially no difference to Pocket's sales, if you believe the poll.
Now, clearly, the two assumptions I made are totally random and illogical... but so are any other assumptions you could make. So - the poll means nothing, and even if it did mean something, it wouldn't mean much.
