Should there be a comic or novel continuation of Starfleet Academy?

If there isn't any licensed content that can carry on the story as intended the headcanon will do it. My brain is not capable of just accepting unresolved cliffhangers or really any story threads without filling in the blanks and coming up with myself.

There are going to be so many questions after season 2 ends. Will everyone survive? Will everyone graduate? Not to mention whatever storylines season 2 sets up.

It's take quite a few books or comics to finish the story and if they did I would want people from the show involved with it. I've really disliked what the current teams running the comics have come up with so wouldn't want them to have a lot of creative control and would like to see as close to what the planned seasons 3 and 4 would have been.

I think comics are the best way for them to go. I don't know if there is enough widespread interest in novels, but maybe a comic miniseries here or there, or even a more ambitious Season 3 series that would allow the creators to finish the story, like how there have been more Buffy, Angel, Smallville, Batman '66 and Wonder Woman '77 comics. There's even a Greatest American Hero comic now, which takes place after that series.

I'm not sure they would be comics would be a big sell. Maybe a novel but it would have to be crossed over into other ST Franchises. I don't think SFA would really sell well on its own at this point. But who knows. Maybe novelists will do a better job with the characters than the script writers did.

If they were truly at 40,000 viewers, we wouldn’t be seeing a season two, even a complete one.

It would simply be better for them to hide it away and take the tax write off.
Wasn't it a case of them ordering S2 before the show even dropped? (honest question, I wasn't following this kind of thing)

Should do Tales of the Miyazaki. A concept where they can go creatively wild.
They should bring back Short Treks for this and other stories.

I liked SA well enough (nowhere near as "90210" as most thought it would be), but haven't bought ST novels for a lotta years and comics even longer ago.

They did. But, at 40,000 viewers for season one, it would make more sense to just bury season two for the tax write off.
