Should season 2 have a new title sequence?

I have no opinion on the title sequence itself, but something needs to be done with the aural wallpaper that is the opening theme.

I can clearly picture in my head the title sequence. I can't for the life of me remember what the music sounds like. It's so forgettable. Even the terrible soft-rock song Enterprise had was arguably better at least as being an earworm.

IMO ... the music is a bit to slow.
If they upped the tempo a bit it might not be quite so unforgettable.

this was posted last year somewhere. I just think it looks really good.
Wow, I really like that. They should have done that with the titles when they were in the Mirror Universe, like Fringe changed their (somewhat similar in concept) titles when they had the season set in the parallel universe.

I like the opening titles of the show. I feel they're unique enough to set them apart from the other show's space vista sequences, but also touches on the ENT opening with the daVinci-like drawings reminding you of historical scientific and exploratory developments juxtaposed with the futuristic technology. Plus the music is good and I especially like it leading into the Alexander Courage theme at the end.

All that being said, as much as I like the opening sequence, I wouldn't mind at all if they decided to make some changes to it or replace it completely to either try something new or because they want to reflect the change of theme in the second season. They shouldn't be afraid to try new things.

I actually don't mind the music but the sketches don't do it for me. (I like the imagery of the 'Enterprise' series).

I'd cut the awkward, tacked-on classic Trek bits at the start and end of the title theme.

And yeah, a new set of weird imagery to reflect what's going on in S2. I love weird imagery in my title sequences.

Oh. That's certainly understandable but I get a cheap thrill with the original/classic Original Trek music at the end. It's like a little hug.

original TOS sounds and music are always welcome to me. I love the old soundtrack.

The current titles are cool on their own, but featuring the TOS designs make less sense now that we see how little fidelity the show has to the overall aesthetics of the original series. It's almost insulting, really. I'd rather they do their own thing with the titles, as they're doing with the rest of the program.

I'd be down for a new theme and title sequence each season. Admittedly it would be expensive for something that is essentially a screensaver with some names but I remember it was always exciting when a new season of Babylon 5 started and a new intro sequence and theme was unveiled.

I liked hearing the theme when the Enterprise appeared at the end of the finale, but I felt using the end credits music for that episode was a bit much.

Season 2 will feature everyone involved in the making of this terrible terrible show that's done so much harm to so many good law abiding tv streamers kneeling on the ground in front of the camera begging for forgiveness for using anything related to star trek while self-flagellating, cutting their scalp with abalone shells, screaming "We are not worthy Gene!" while a single somber drumb beat plays and instructions for how to watch that Seth McFarlane show scroll across the screen. There.

New title sequence. I like the sketch elements but *really* don't dig the vanilla cream background.

My. I'm sorry if I made an observation you didn't like. I'd invite you to discuss the point, but it appears you'd rather ... do that.

I think it has more to do with it being the Franchise Logo in general now. To be honest, it weirds me out in particular to see the TOS Font on things from the first 10 movies or the Berman Era Series.

Oh lord please - yes. I could do with a different title sequence. The music score was fine, but the visuals, well, they weren't what I had hoped for I guess.
