Even I, who loves trying to fit in all the expanded universe into continuity, just ignore most of the DC stuff set between 3 and 4.

That was certainly awkward. It might have been better had it been Excelsior out looking for Kirk....the crew as mythic ghosts just a step ahead. They didn’t know TUC was coming—-but if I were in charge, I’d have those comics retcon Styles as part of Cartwright’s coup. “Kirk was always a problem. A good fighter, but that ugliness with Reliant tells me he’s gone soft.”

I might mix and match movies. Have Khan resurrected on a wrecked Enterprise blown clear of Genesis. He was rescued by a mate and left on a killer bee. Then you do Into Darkness and mix that with TUC—-no Voyage Home, except as a return of V’ger with Decker and Ilya as Sojin and Moray type characters, perhaps.

Keep the Cold War type stories together, with Section 31.

That would be a great DC retcon, with Khan slamming Excelsior into Starfleet.

    “Two—damnit—TWO ships he’s stolen.”
