Spoilers She-Hulk: Attorney at Law discussion thread

That was the best thing the MCU has ever done. Hard stop.

And while the metaphor may have been a little on the nose, it was still well executed -- and certainly apropos.

And the nerd tribe's dialog was perfect. I'm pretty sure you could find half the shit they said verbatim on this very board.

I won't say this was my favourite MCU show because there is really no other show to compare itself to. The whole series was fantastic and so on the nose. The entire production staff must have been high 5'ing in the days leading up to episode one when the actual villains of the series were review bombing She-Hulk. I was thinking "take that you incel b*****ds throughout the whole middle scene. The dialogue could have been taken directly from message boards, including this one unfortunately. How many times have we heard "I'm not sexist. I would say this even if it were a man." on here? Took me back to Season 2 discussions of Supergirl.

I admit I was fooled by the ridiculousness of the fight that was building up and thought that Feige had mandated some kind of over the top action scene at the end.

Then the entire meta-scene with Marvel poking fun at its own limitations was brilliant.

Anybody who is complaining the MCU is all "one thing" and has no "diversity" can go wipe the egg off their face.

These dinky tv shows barely count as MCU, since 90 percent of the movie audience will never sign up to Disney Plus, because the NFL package costs too much.

I didn't think about it at the time but I'm glad they highlighted the immense difficulty of the sequin dress with the standard She-Hulk CGI.

That whole sequence should always be pointed out anytime anyone complains about the CGI on this show.

I don't think I could ever play a mo-cap character, having those damn cameras in my face the whole time would drive me out of my mind.

For me, the most interesting aspect of this series was the revelation that the Sokovia Accords had been repealed.

"It's going to be impossible for Jen to get out of that situation, I imagine."
"No, it's going to be super easy, barely an inconvenience."
"How she going to do that then?"
"She's going to leave the show and enter the real world."
"Oh my God!"
Looks like I accurately predicted which scene he would be talking about when he delivered the "super easy, barely an inconvenience" line.

The final two episodes were highly enjoyable, I found.

You were right. I finished the show last night. I thought it was a lot of fun. I really liked all the characters. Even the bad guys were great. Leap Frog was funny. They all were actually.

I loved the retro introduction they did...

Just finished watching the entire series, and loved every minute of it. Funny, well-acted, and a great nod to its comic origins.

:) Am hoping She-Hulk 2 is in the works somewhere!

Edit: I knew I’d seen Jen Walters father before! It’s Mark Linn-Baker from Perfect Strangers!

I thought "She-Hulk: Attorney-at-Law" was a fun, yet badly written series. I don't see myself watching any future seasons . . . if it has any.
