I still wonder if ‘Still Treads The Shadow’ was written with the hope of getting Bill on board.

The Kickstarter Shatner is mad about would have been right around the time they were getting ready to prep for that episode, if I'm not totally mistaken?

Star Trek Continues is blocked they used images from ST:TOS to promote their series. I met the actor that played Kirk during a Con; we took a photo & he ended up doing panels using that photo to say I taught him to play Kirk. What would you expect my opinion to be?

I would say 99% that the Twitter account is not Shatner. The amount of times that Twitter account has referenced very niche 4chan injokes and linked to /tv/ and /pol/ makes me think it's a social media staffer who posts on 4chan.

Further down in the comments to Michele's tweet, STC director Julian Higgins said he was blocked, too. I wouldn't be surprised if Shatner's social media intern looked up everyone's name on IMDb and did a sweeping block of the cast and crew.

I actually *have* heard rumors / buzz that Shatner has posted on 4chan or reddit, but it may have all been part of the hoax or whatever.
