Shatner and Paramount

I'm on the WilliamShatner.com email list and every week or so I get an email from the Shatman about what's going on with him. I've noticed lately that you can purchase some authentic Trek set deocations. On the most recent email you can purchase some items from ENT. In the past there's been stuff from DS9. It makes me wonder about what kind of deal Shatner has with Paramount with respect to these types of things. I doubt anyone on the board is privy to Shat's contract, but does anyone have any insight?

Paramount and/or CBS has been trying to unload warehouses full of Star Trek props, uniforms, etc. for some time now. They had that big auction a while back but there's still lots more stuff. Maybe they're using the Shat to help move things along.
