Shades of Grey - Seasons 3-7

I know almost everyone hates this episode, but I was watching it tonight (Finishing Season 2 finally) and I got to thinking, what Riker Clips from Seasons 3-7 would have worked in this episode. I guess that means you have clips of happieness, sadness, wide-range of negative emotions, and then the big finally with the most negative clips.

I guess this is a "What are your favorite Riker Moments" thread, but I'm looking at it as what if they did Shades of Grey in Season 7.

It's been a while since I've actually watched the series all the way through, but the only clip I know of that could work for happiness is his love interest in The Outcast and the "I'll be in my Bunk" comment from A Perfect Mate.

If you really wanted to make it interesting, it doesn't need to be just Riker, but considering he was the main subject of this clip show, I figured might as well keep it with him.

There would probably be loads of clips from Frame of Mind for the sad/angry/scared emotions.
Being trapped by the clicking aliens in Schisms.
The ship exploding (repeatedly) in Cause and Effect.
Running away from the Crystaline Entity in Silicon Avatar.

Meeting himself in 'Second Chances'. Best Of Both Worlds had some of the best Riker moments i can remember.

stuff from "the outcast," "the pegasus," "Chain of Command" and "BOBW" I would guess.

still, just as well they didn't do a later-season clip-show episode. One was more than enough. The only time Trek did something like that, and for good reason.

clip shows belonged with mediocre '80s sitcoms, not with Trek.

Sitting in the captain's chair on the Battle Bridge with a self-satisfied/smug look on his face upon the capture of Locutus from the Borg cube in "BoBW pt 2".

Reacting to Locutus' first appearance on the viewscreen and then ordering Worf to fire on the Borg cube at the end of "BoBW pt 1".

His various romantic encounters over the course of TNG, notably with Dr. Crusher as Odan, Ensign Ro, Carmen (from 'Silicon Avatar'), Soren ('The Outcast').. etc...

His moral quandary in "The Pegasus", being verbally dressed down by Picard, and Pressman.

Posing as Rivan Jakara on Malcor III, and his near death there, and his encounter with Lanel. ("First Contact")

I'm sure there would be something usable in "Future Imperfect" as well. His feelings upon learning that he has a 'son'?

I have to be honest: when ever I've rewatched the entire series, I usually finish season two with "Peak Performance". I agree that "Shades Of Grey" just isn't worth the effort (even though the scenes at the end with 'Captain Picard' are kind of cute :guffaw:).
