and I hate Lt. Scott
I find myself feeling the same way, him and that senators daughter! Why is that I wonder?!

Actually the sled thing reminds me of something a person who has played way too much D&D would do.
I got an image Eli surfing on it down the corridors like a skateboard!
Well, the alien swarm was interesting; another real hard SF idea imported into Stargate. Other than that, not much of interest. They seemed to be using more of the Cops camerawork again this week. And I laughed out loud at Rush's comment for Eli to stop acting like a child; the whole premise of these nuBSG-type shows is for grown men and women to act like maladjusted adolescents-- and Eli is probably the most mature character on the show.![]()

Can you go one post in this forum without bashing nuBSG? Is that possible?

Much better than last week.
Exactly. And he's still the most mature person in the cast. And I laughed out loud at Rush's comment for Eli to stop acting like a child; the whole premise of these nuBSG-type shows is for grown men and women to act like maladjusted adolescents-- and Eli is probably the most mature character on the show.![]()
Eli is about as close to a maladjusted adolescent as the show has, he's a college dropout living at home with his mother playing internet video games, he doesn't even had the courage to get a job.
That's true as well. And Rush is a bastard, so he'll always twist that knife when he wants Eli to shut up, even if it doesn't entirely make sense. "Yes, not telling the person in charge of the ship stuff that's going on is the right thing to do. You'd understand that if you'd ever went into the real world."
Since the format of the show is blatantly derivative of nuBSG, comparisons are pretty much inevitable. Can you go one post in this forum without bashing nuBSG? Is that possible?
Fame looks good on me.No. No he can't. But he is on notice.

I don't think so. I criticize the whole 'darker & grittier' fad dating back to the Reagan years; nuBSG is just the closest antecedent to SGU and therefore the most likely to be mentioned.Since the format of the show is blatantly derivative of nuBSG, comparisons are pretty much inevitable. Can you go one post in this forum without bashing nuBSG? But your consistent potshots aren't. You're bashing of nuBSG is tiring and usually only barely related to the topic at hand. You're not "comparing" anything; you're just getting in cheap shots.
