I swear if we have to wait until April I will be so pissed. I really hope that SyFy is smart and starts up again in January.

I thought I heard or read February somewhere, but I can't confirm that.

Yeah, five months from now would be a real pisser.

Well guys, that was pretty decent, all in all. I gave it 9 chevs; it didn't completely blow me away, but it was pretty good. I really do like this show.

Conversely, this is most likely my last SGU commentary. As I told Brent, we're going to scale back our cable service next month to bring the cost in line, losing Skiffy in the process.

At least there will be the DVDs down the road.

I get the feeling that whatever Chloe has done will save them. I don't think the blue aliens want Destiny destroyed, they want to capture it, and learn its secrets. So I think Chloe's programming activated which has a core nature to protect the ship.

it was a above average episode, pretty good. FINALLY SOME HUMOR! geez was that so hard...love Eli's line about playing HALO doesnt prepare your this. :D

i had a feeling Telford would show up to save the day at some point in the season. overall it was a decent episode. some nice moments with TJ and Eli. have to say i'm still not a fan of the Chloe story. still, i feel the series has improved much this season.

Pretty good episode. So now we know what those aliens (Ursini) were doing on the seed ship. They're at war with the drone ships and needed help. I wish we could have seen a little more of them instead of flashbacks to Awakening. Oh well maybe next time.

I liked how they escaped by going through the star and the drone ships popping off like fireworks. That was neat! Also liked the space battles and the short but tense space walk to board the alien ship.

How will they get out of this mess and blow up the control ship? I guess Chloe has somehow got it covered.

8 chevrons... I liked it.

- The Chloe scenes were nowhere near as good as last episode. The weak part of the episode. But it seems obvious that she has done something that will save the ship.

- The quick reappearance of Telford was not as dramatically well played as I hoped it would be, it just seemed to happen a bit too quick.

+ Pluses for exploration, and a new and semi-new (Ursini) alien race. And nice to see more of the ship remnants from a 3rd race again.

+ Looks like they saved some budget by limiting the appearance of the Ursini. But I liked that they are looking out for themselves just as much as the destiny crew by pre-emptively making sure they wouldn't be double-crossed. They are in an temporary alliance of "convenience", nothing more. The moment they can, they will take advantage of each other. :)

+ This Galaxy has some interesting sentient races, hopefully they will be explored more fully next part of the season.

Me too! Best part of the ep, although I did enjoy a few new views of the ship(s). Can't wait for the return, hopefully on Friday!

The Seed Ship showing up wasn't quite as awesome as the Pegasus zooming in to Galactica's rescue at the Battle of New Caprica, but it was pretty cool nonetheless.

Episode had my interest throughout. I give it Eight Chevrons.

Gave it a 9, despite the Chloe scenes dragging things down and the stuff with Telford being too rushed. I do wish they could've actually found out something about the Ursini ship instead of just wandering around dark corridors, but whatever. As long as the characters keep managing to behave the way they have been for the last two episodes, I'll be less inclined to ditch the show and more inclined actually get invested in it.

Ditto that, I agree those were the two weakest parts of the story. Still liked the ep a lot though, even after sleeping on it.

Hopefully, they can figure out what to do with Chloe's arc before the show returns.

I agree with those who said Telford's return felt rushed, but they did cover a pretty decent amount of ground in this episode overall, so I'm willing to let that slide. This episode seemed to have at least a little of everything: interpersonal situations; exploration; interstellar intrigue; humor; action. After last episode, I was thinking odds were 50/50 of me returning for the second half of the season. After this episode, however, I'll definitely be back, and I'm giving this one an 8 on the poll.

Wonder how much they had to pay Whedon to replace Chloe with River Tam?

I can't believe they just trusted Telford immediately, after he tells them he plugged his brain into the Turtle Aliens (Ursini) VR pods.

And, as someone predicted a couple weeks ago, they've finally introduced the 'replicators' (and these 'drones' will be every bit as groan-worthy bad, I predict). I hope I'm wrong, but I predict the drones will be awful.

Automated Drones with a central command ship. I was debating with myself were they Cylons or Replicators? I choose Cylon because they looked like the original BSG and back then there was no Caprica to confuse the matter
