They didn't cop out on who framed Young. The easy outs were the guy who uses the chair and Wray, but they chose Dr. Smith/Baltar instead.

Now, how obvious was it to everyone who heard him that Young was lying about Rush's fate at the end?

That was probably my favorite episode yet. I thought it was really firing on all cylinders. No doubt Rush'll be back onboard but the real question is how Young and he will handle it. Stellar episode but I'm pissed about the long wait.

I liked this one a lot! I found it a bit funny that even though Young didn't commit the murder, he basically did the same thing with Rush. From his perspective he left Rush to die and lied about it because he knew Rush could be trouble which is kind of what he was being blamed for in connection to the murder.

I liked it a lot. The end made me laugh for some reason. Cannot wait to see the outcome!

As long as it doesn't turn out like 100 Days and is forgotten by the time episode 12 happens, this episode made me interested in the show again.

The music is getting a bit too 80s SciFi for me though. I think they need to texture it a lot more before it ends up sounding like a Blade Runner/Dune clone.

I give it an 8 (the high rating mostly because Rush got beaten up and left behind on an alien planet).

I like him too, but he needed his ass kicked. Hard. And Repeatedly.

Nice ending to the first 10 and wow didn't see Young leaving Rush behind. Caryle will be back am sure but have to admit wouldn't surprise me if he was gone after everyone said he wouldn't stay for long . I wonder if he might be gone for a while and his whole dissaperance/return could be linked to the season finale story.

8/10

btw I love the Greer character he was made to sound like an ass when first described last year but on screen his character is someone you want backing you up in battle, he does what is morally right even with law might say otherwise.

9/10. Easily the best episode so far, it really had a lot of plot threads going on, which was a great change after the last few episodes. I guess Rush will have to pull a Starbuck and figure out how t fly the crashed alien ship...

I like Rush, too. Even when he's a bastard – especially when he's a bastard. I laughed out loud when he just shrugged off the new evidence exonerating Young with "This mess will still be here when we get back."

Re: SG-U – Justice (1x10) - (Discuss – Grade | SPOILERS)

Good episode, I liked how despite a lack of science fiction elements that the story was still compelling because it built on what development has been established by the characters, the plot development over the episodes before and making the most of their current predicament. This felt more honest than creepy use of the stones.

I thought Young was going to come through the gate with an unconscious Rush slung over his shoulder.

I kind of like that they put that ship on that planet so they don't have to necessarily do anything eye-rolling when it comes time to put an end to this. A lot of cliffhangers where the writers paint things into a corner without a clear idea of how to get out of it end up resolved very unsatisfactorily.

I also kind of liked how they basically told us to "shut up already" by mentioning how it would be futile to use the stones to swap with a forensics expert or whatever.

Actually with the dead wife as well as how he is an uber-bastard I see Rush as more like Gendo Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I could see that...

Did that pod look like the one which detached from Destiny in an earlier episode?

(If not the same unit, then maybe the same type.)

They said in the episode that it was 'ancient' design, that it was something 'more modern'.

I wasn't sure if that meant not as ancient as the ship, but designed by the same people or modern design by a completely different race.

However, as the characters were speculating on it being a "local" species ...

But, then..., I guess, even if they were "local", they could have docked with the Destiny, but when the new people showed up, they took off...

I chuckled to the civillian's reaction to the news that he'd be the away team's leader. Seemed he didn't want it.

^^Or the search of the crew quarters. Nope, let's not document the search for the murder weapon, so when we find if, we won't have proof where it was found and in what condition.

Sure let's add another half million to the ep's budget. :techman:

Great episode, and loved the ending and that final shot of Rush looking up towards the stars.

After the episode here on SPACE's "InnerSpace" segment, it was revealed that the designers of the District 9 aliens would be bringing their talents to the back half of the season. Whether we'll see that early (maybe the owner of that crashed ship) or later on I don't know, but that sounds promising.

It would be cool if we don't same the same generic humanoidish aliens so that's something to look forward to.

BTW, good call on comparing Rush to Gendo Ikari from Evangelion... I can definitely see the similarities.

I gotta say I was going to go with maybe a 7 or so for this episode, but that ending probably bumped me up to 9 just because of how unexpected it was.

and Young... Man who's he gonna lay-out next? Telford...Rush...lol
