I could say Congrats and stuff like that, and I would mean it, but I have a question for you. What ever happened to the sun emoticon you used to end every one of your posts?
We (the staff) agreed it would be good to retire those, since they technically count against the rules regarding sig images. My use of them was never really a huge problem, but we felt it would be best to not give the impression that as a mod I'd have special exemptions to the rules. (dang... )
So it's against the rules to have emoticons part of the signature? I thought the whole point of images would be to not make them incredibly big to the point where they take up most if not all the screen and are annoying. Emoticons are barely noticeable last time I checked.
Speaking of that, I do have an emoticon as part of my sig. I have to get rid of that because it's against the rules?
My understanding is, emoticons technically count. I think at the time we had this discussion, I was the one who asked in particular about the ones I was using and we agreed not use them. But my understanding has always been, no sig images of any sort due to them being obnoxious on a lot of other boards.

Personally I don't mind them myself as long as they're sensibly designed. Frontier and the TrekCore staff have done some very good work over at the Omega Sector in that regard. In any case, since Goji's sunshine cult hasn't done anything major in a long time and the Holy Order of the Coffee Goddess has likewise slipped into obscurity, I don't mind not using them. I feel old now though.
