Spoilers Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan): Every damn day of her life!

Throw me off a bridge with a bungee cord strapped to me, so that I know I won't die...I'm still probably going to scream.

Narissa did not strike me as someone easily frightened...except by death.

Trust me, she screamed because she knew she was going to die and had no way of stopping it. If she had any access to emergency beam-out, she would have disappeared as soon as she fell.

Or, hell, she might have even beamed away mid-fight.

Jeri Ryan is one of the absolute best actors in the Trek franchise. What she brought to Seven in Voy was positively brilliant. The only complaint I have about her in Pic was that she should have been in episode one and continued from there.

But I loved that the character had evolved as every human would over 30 years. I would have been disappointed and dismayed if she had been the same naive innocent and childlike person she was on Voy. But even though she has evolved, she is shown to still be struggling, just not with all of the same old issues.

If Seven is back next season I want to see more of her dealing with her former Borgness, her relationship with Raffi, no matter the type of relationship, Ichab’s death. But what I’d really like is for Jeri to have a bigger role.

Do we know at this point if this is a relationship or just a hookup?

Oh, something that bothered me about the Seven/ Narissa fight... well, actually two things:
1. I doubt it would be so easy to distract Seven and snatch her weapon
2. Whatever became of her superior Borg strength and reflexes? Unless Romulans possess superhuman strength, this shouldn't have been much of a fight at all.
She does like to get her drink on, maybe that leveled the fighting field some?

Narissa may have gotten some licks in, but Seven is experienced enough to know that what counts is the finishing move. ;)

It just occurred to me that for all we know, Seven is just hitching a ride back to Fenris on La Sirena, not necessarily a cew member...

If Seven wasn't joining the crew, why would she be sitting at the tactical station? Wouldn't she be sitting in the passenger section instead?

She's also wearing a comm badge:

TPTB know we're parsing screenshots and trailers for spoilers (Jeri and Jonathan Del Arco have said as much in interviews).

Turns out we were right on Icheb.

That was what Seven/Annika ripped off Narissa's belt at the start of the fight, wasn't it? The emergency beam-out gadget?

The thread title made me think of "Not A Day Goes By" (the Act I "bitter divorce" version, not the Act II "love ballad" version) from Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along.

What would be the point of bringing Narissa back? What was left unfinished that she would be a part of going forward? The synth angle is done. That was her thing. It's over. This is Picard's show and she's got blessed little to do with him. It's not the Seven show so there's no real reason to bring her back as her antagonist. Narissa is toast.

For revenge on Picard for ruining everything. I think she's dead though.

I agree, but it wouldn't be the first time that a show brought back, or kept a character who had overstayed their welcome...

She's a subplot.

You're not writing the show. TPTB can do whatever they want.
