And I was just about to ruin your day by mentioning a character which I really would love to see back and restored to normal in this series.

But I guess that will never happen, not in any series and not in any book.

Anyway, I will watch the series because it will bring me back to where I exist, the 24th century.

And whatever it is, it can't be worse than Star Trek Discovery or Stargate Universe!

I thought it looked different, too.

I also realized that in a couple of Voyager eps. the outer part of the piece was removed (and we saw the inner workings) so I can see her just getting a new outer cover.
