Seven Could of Saved Other Members of Voyager from Dying

mysticgeek

Lieutenant
Red Shirt
I don't know if this has been brought up before, but when Seven of Nine saved Neelix from dying -- 18 hours (or whatever it was) after he was dead. Why couldn't she have brought other crew members back to life when they died? Such as LT Kerry or other one off cast members.

Yep. But hey, if Star Trek didn't suffer from the 42-minute reset, we'd have super powered Starfleet X-Men as per the super serum Spock discovers in the old episode "Bread and Circuses"

Actually, that would be pretty cool...

Don't forget also having eternal youth by using a transporter to de-age yourself.

She consulted a career counselor and didn't feel she was interested enough in a life of resurrection.

Lt. Kerry didn't read bedtime stories to Naomi, Seven likes Naomi, Lt Kerry died.

Simple.

:)

The noob said Kerry.

That's fine.

Noobz get some leeway.

No need to scare them off.

WTF is all you other ####ers problems?

Lt Joseph Carey.

Show some damn respect for the man.

Because nobody else the hell did.

;)

^ I thought I was the only one who was like "It's Carey! Not Kerry."

I felt bad for him. Voyager was only a few episodes away from getting home and he didn't make it:( He always seemed like a nice fellow.

I caught that too, but again I thought he was long dead before friendship one. :-) Maybe the aliens later started a Religion. Carey lives again!

Personally, I blame admiral Janeway more for Kerry's death than Seven

Didna ?

Didnae ?

The second one

Living in Aberdeen has had an effect. I'm thinking about starting a petition to get a statue of Scotty built (to ease the boredom)

My bad, yeah LT. Cary whatever, I know they had a show to do, but it was just interesting that 7 never saved anyone else who had been dead.

I just assumed it was like, some other guy, some guy I couldn't remember like how I didn't remember who Carey was when we found out he was dead.

I can imagine Joe the first time he has a real conversation with Seven "I don't mean to be forward young woman, but at some point in the future you are going to travel back in time to before Voyager is lost, and we are going to meet, I will be handsome and charming, and you will feel compelled to submit to my every request until we have a night of unbridled passion, but you can't allow yourself to do that, do you understand me? Timespace will break if you rip your clothes off and present your bosoms to me, because you didn't. It can't can't happen even though every fibre of your being will try to draw you into my embrace, for the Universe, for the integrity of reality you must fight your natural compulsions to ride me like a wild bronco or the universe is doomed. Can you do that? Can you not sleep with me? I know this is probably the hardest thing anyone has ever asked of you, but this is the right thing to do. Good. You will keep your clothes on and I will keep my clothes on and we must not kiss or it will all end in tragedy! i am serious! You are not allowed to kiss me! it is forbidden! ...However here and now, that's not an issue, and if you do the math, you owe me a raincheck for putting off the greatest emotional awakening of your life 5 years ago... But you'know, no biggy, one way or the other, I'm not extremely invested in seeing you naked, we should just be friends, if you can resist a bracing encounter with ultimate pleasure that is. Completely your call."

And then she would say something like "Arn't you married?"

I just assumed it was like, some other guy, some guy I couldn't remember like how I didn't remember who Carey was when we found out he was dead.

He was the guy that Janeway had wanted to take over as Chief Engineer when the original engineer died but Chakotay convinced her to give the position to B'Elanna instead. He was only in a handful of episodes but was often mentioned throughout the series.

LOL yes I did figure out who he was, I'm just saying in my first watch of VOY I was like.. who?
