Seven Could of Saved Other Members of Voyager from Dying

I assume it was a fact to fit the story but it could be due to manner of death? Neelix was hit by protomatter and the damage was in his brain. Carey was shot through the heart by a rifle / phase if memory serves me correctly.

A rhetorical question is a question you ask for which everyone already knows the answer to. It's really a veiled statement. You are stating the answer of the question as a fact without saying the answer of the question outright, only the question that tricks persons listening to you into thinking of the answer to the question as if it was telepathic communication.

In this case, like with most questions generated in this forum, the answer to the question is "Rick Berman is a thoughtless asshole" which is something that never has to be said because it's just a universal constant. 1 Rick Berman is a Thoughtless Asshole = 1000 listless sighs of consternaiton.

You know that Rick Berman is a thoughtless asshole, and it might take you all night, but you could easily create a hundred questions to which the only answer is "Rick Berman is a thoughtless asshole" even though your answer is factually accurate, the only reason that Joe died was because someone on Berman's payroll was being an asshole.

I want to have long discussion about the fictitious Lt. Kerry until everyone forgets that he's fictitious. I want to build a back story, I want to know his hobbies, his interests, I want to know if he secretly had feelings for B'Elanna, I want to know if he was friends with Chell or not

I bet he loved show tunes.....thats such a Lt. Kerry thing to love

And walks by the sea

Star Trek's first transgender character

Season 1 - 3 (female)
Season 4 - 7 (male)

Look, how quickly he's taking shape

And he has a cat called "Keith"

No, there were ex positional characters on Voyager and Enterprise who changed gender.

Berman Apologists claim that they were twins or married, which is why there was at least two sets of crewmen on Voyager with the same rank and the same surnames but the opposite gender.

Data's cat spot changed gender also.

However it's not a stretch to believe that Data kept losing, and replacing cats, yet still always calling every new cat he owned "Spot".

And there was that episode where Quark grew a Vagina.

I once knew a girl whose vagina grew a quark......not pleasant

That's exactly the kind of joke Lt. Kerry would make by the way

Which one was Kerry? Memory-Alpha is drawing a blank, it's only coming up with Kerry Hoyt, the actor and no characters called Kerry.

Mysticgeek's Original Post had a typo or a misremembering.

But he meant Carey, not Kerry.

Emperor's new clothes y'know, people here who should have known better just assumed that Kerry was someone dinky from one episode who they forgot about and that if they kept talking, someone in the loop would say just the right thing to unlock their brain tumblers and then they'd remember who she was and where he was from.

:)

Hux on the other hand is getting meta and presupposing a universe where we hadn't made up Kerry, and that she (and he) did exist as a crewman aboard the USS Voyager who we had been watching for seven years keenly.

If we keep talking about Lt. Erasmus Kerry (yes I've given him a first name) he will become real

Five years from now the Voyager board will be countless threads about Kerry. Why in episode 56 did Kerry act the way he did, does anyone else think Seven was in love with Kerry, was Janeway right to promote Kerry, how did Kerry escape from the Hirogen that one time

The people will come and look upon the Voyager board with great confusion. They will wonder how they missed him. They will check memory alpha and get frustrated. They will question the very nature their reality

Episode 56 was Coda.

90 percent of that one was Janeway dreaming about being killed. It's a reasonable assumption that some of the extras in Coda on Voyager might have been "figments" of Janeway's subconscious and therefore quantum mechanically both Kerry and not Kerry more so than almost any other episode.

That you randomly picked that story above any other is enough for me to ask you young man if you happen to be a holistic detective?

I vote Erasmus Kerry totally replaces Harry Kim by the year 2019.

I doubt I could kick him around as much as Harry, which is what I need in an Ensign.

Some dumb punk who can just lay there and take it.

Seven couldn't have used her nanites to save any other crew members. She used them to save Neelix in a different episode. So it clearly wouldn't have worked in the current episode.

Do you expect precedents established in one episode to apply to another one? This is Voyager!

No, Kerry has to exist parallel to the real characters until we all genuinely lose our shit and don't know if he's real or not anymore. I won't be happy until we're all like Tuvok in a Endgame. Rocking back and forth, a mad look in our eyes, frothing at the mouth and repeating...."Lt. Kerry's disappearance remains a mystery....I am deeply concerned....deeply concerned"

Except that Tuvok wasn't any of these things in Endgame.

Oh

You're right

I'm being silly aren't I

Well I guess I'll go and have a good long hard think about what I've been doing with my life
