Series 5 figures?

I have the Smith Crash Set from Eleventh Hour. Its so unbeleivably cool. And i believe, they randomised all the bow tie colours on the sets for the Tardis blue and the red one. Cant be sure though, but my tie is the red one.
I realize it's early on in the Series 5 line, but will the "standard" Eleven be sold on its own at some point? I definately want to get 11, but not necessarily the other version of him in the Crash Set.

For that matter, what about the other Classic Docs like 2, 3 & 7? Will they be sold by themselves without their accompanying TARDIS or villains or monsters?

It's doubtful they will. They rereleased the Tennant figure several times, but usually in some new multi-figure pack. And I gave up waiting for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd to be released seperately and had to finally splurge on the earlier Comic-Con sets to get them.

And then of course there's the big 11 doctors set that's coming out...

In the long run, if you really want an 11th Doc, you're best bet will probably be just to get the Crash Set.

I hope all the Daleks from Victory of the Daleks are available in some kind of Dalek set. That's the top of my wishlist for Series 5 figures.

While we're on the subject of wishlists I wonder whether we'll get an 11th Doctor console room playset?

If they do make one... not sure if I'll get it. I'm getting to old to collect these things according to my girlfriend.

But if they do, I certainly hope they include the walls this time. It was really silly of CO to only make one wall panel, for the exterior door wall. It was cardboard. They could have made all the the walls without raising the costs.

Personally, I would have rather had all the back walls instead of the wall with the door on it. That's how we always saw the room on TV after all.

Well, last night's episode gave us the new Daleks. Don't like them at all.

I'm hoping we get the army green, Union Jack Dalek. I'll be snapping up a couple of those. But I will be avoiding like the plague the new Power Ranger Multi-Coloured Hunchback Fisher Price Daleks.

I almost feel like they were redesigned just for the toy market, with the youngest kids in mind.

That's the one I'm waiting for. I decided to pass on getting the Seventh Doctor with TARDIS and the Eleventh Doctor Crash Set for that reason (plus it'll be the only way to get the Eighth Doctor for the forseeable future).

I think the Eleventh Doctor will ultimately be released individually at some point, though. But yeah, if you want one right now, go with the Crash Set.

Did I miss a bit of news that indicated Eight would first be available only in that 11 Doctors set? If so, that sucks tremendously.

Yeah. Making the Eighth Doctor an exclusive is a way to get people to buy the 11 Doctors set if you want to get all the incarnations. But some of the other classic Doctors in the set are reportedly variants from individual episodes.

For some reason I'm a bit worried that they won't release the khaki Union Jack Dalek in favour of a set of New Style Daleks.

Hopefuly the set of New Style Daleks includes the khaki one.

I can't imagine them not releasing the Union Jack Dalek. My feeling is that they'd sell very well.

And last night, I found myself thinking that maybe one of the new Daleks wouldn't be so bad... just for the sheer wrongness of it. ;)

^ Ah, but which colour would you choose if you had to just have one? That's the big question? :D

On a side note, I picked up my latest group of figures from the post office on the weekend, and they look great! I got Five (which looks remarkably like Davison!) and Martha Jones (which looks remarkably un-like Freema! :D) I've already put in my next order from Mike's. Must...stop... Pretty soon I'll have to take some pix, and I've already got my TARDIS backdrops ready to go... :)

Well, the Radio times asked us Brits to make the choice (complicated by political consideration). From a look at the stuff on the shelves, yellow sold best, then red, then blue.

White or blue I think.

And yay for your growing collection. I'm expecting my Eleventh Doctor Crash set from Mike's any day.

Shame Mike's is out of the regular Colin figure though. But then everyone is, unless you're resorting to eBay. I was looking for a friend. Told him he'd likely have to wait for the rumoured 11 Doctors set.

I'm going to buy them all but then again I am a whore of the Daleks <---- hey that could be the title of their next episode.

A nice idea. But it won't work. The new Daleks will still sell plenty. I'm sure the kiddies, and quite a few adults, will snap them up.
