Serenity on Blu-Ray

The disc is nothing to shout about, but it's not bad, either. Just middle of the road. As far as the film goes, I'd grade it somewhere in between "good" and "poor." Not nearly as good as the series regular. Went with the higher option out of generosity.

I am sort of curious of what TLS thought of the movie. And I sort of now want a BR player just for this disc.

Thanks, bro. She's three weeks old and she's already seen Balance of Terror. It's an amazing experience (the baby and the ep).

So, like I said, a good (hopefully) deep space sci-fi flick like Serenity and some good chinese food will make my off night a chance to relax. I will pos my thoughts.

In other blu-ray news I picked up Total Recall for $10 at Sam's Club.

Agreed... I would actually call it the number one reason to get Blu.

Well, better late than never. In between watching the baby and trying to get some rest I finally watched Serenity on Saturday night. The verdict? between very good and awesome.

The movie was smart, pretty well paced, full of action and scenery, and the cast did a great job.

I'd watch it again in a minute.
