Semi Seinfeld reunion

Just saw on the news that the show "Curb You Enthusiasm", done by "Seinfeld" co-creator Larry David, will have the four main cast members on an upcoming episode. It didn't say whether they will be playing their characters from the popular show, but I would assume not.

I figure there's 4 "main" characters. Are only 3 of them appearing? If so, which 3?

Most likely it'll be the actors playing themselves since most of them have already shown up on the show as themselves.

Everyone but Michael Richards has already appeared as themselves on Curb, though Jerry himself was just seen in one brief cameo.

Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing what they have in store for us. It'd be funny if the season seven storyline was them shooting a Seinfeld movie or something.

Or a new show with all four of them playing different characters which is an utter catastrophe. But it gets good ratings so nobody can pull the plug...

This isn't just one episode; it's the theme of the arc of season seven. News of this has been out for months. That said, I expect it to be pretty funny, since the previous appearances of Dreyfuss and Alexander were hilarious (Seinfeld himself only had a bit in the special and a non-speaking cameo in season four; Richards has never appeared on the series), and the series itself is brilliant. I hope David capitalizes on Richard's blow up at the Laugh In.

Yeah the news is 4-5 months old.

We got the news today that all 4 will appear in at least one episode together, and that there will be at least 5 episodes that focus on the fake reunion show with them on it.

I have enevr seen the show, but I'll be watching now just to see what happened 10 years after gettign out of jail.

While you won't see a full Seinfeld "episode" you will apparently see the actors doing script readings and see them act out the roles. Larry David mentioned something you'll see what happened to them after 11 years.

I've never watched Curb but damn, I'm going to start this season.

You've never seen Curb? You should definitely go back and watch it. If you only watch the first two seasons, you'll still have plenty of Seinfeld cameos to prep you for the latest season.
