Plus at that time my son was in cancer treatment, and I had a lot of down time in the hospital without much to do.
Hopefully everything worked out well for your son.

There are so many opportunities for character studies in this that I cannot help but be interested in what happens. Yes, I think its an odd match up, but it one those interactions that makes me intruged from a psychological and character point of view.
Yeah, after some thought I'm going to disagree a bit. The writing has largely struggled with landing the larger arcs, but I have been interested and invested in all the characters thus far.I think if there were better writers associated with the project, you would definitely have a point. After two seasons of Discovery, I don't trust these writers with something that would need to be a raw and honest character study.
S31 might want her not owing to her world view or personal philosophy, but her sheer effectiveness. There would be no need to completely trust her as long as S31 felt they could exercise a degree of control over her actions. The leash might be long, but it is there.it's just that character I have a problem with. To me it's insane to make someone who hates the Federation and is the opposite of all it stands for a powerful agent in an organization that's upposed to protect
Again, utilitarian. It's the abilities they want, not the personal beliefs. A means to an end.S31 might want her not owing to her world view or personal philosophy, but her sheer effectiveness. I don't know why people get so hung up on the hopscotch!particularly the Allamaraine episode
And that is very in line with how Thirty-One was originally characterized on DS9. If they went back to that, I would like the idea much more.Again, utilitarian. It's the abilities they want, not the personal beliefs. A means to an end.
Probably the same with Starfleet, not every officer would be require to be a kool-ade drinking true believer, just willing to carry out their duties to Starfleet satisfaction.Again, utilitarian. It's the abilities they want, not the personal beliefs. A means to an end.

"Sources" say CBS has made a full series order for the section 31 show.
That article also indicates Disco season 4 will be filming simultaneously with Section 31. Also, that there will be a Disco season 4.https://www.reddit.com/r/StarTrekDi...gift/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

I've got no qualms about Yeoh leading a series, but a mirror universe baddie heading a show about section 31 honestly sounds like a bad fan fiction premise. Trek's most cringe ideas, combined! Not a show I was looking for, but I'll give them the opportunity to impress me. We know Michelle Yeoh has the chops to carry it. I just hope it isn't a replay of Discovery, where we end up with a great cast and mediocre writing.
Those "souces" claim the show will film at new sound stages, and I find it a little odd that all the Trek shows are filming in different locations because they're all going to want to reuse the same standing ship sets at some point or another.https://www.reddit.com/r/StarTrekDi...gift/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
