Last episode is episode 13. Last season there was a 3 part finale. Seems like the same this season.Do they still have enough time left in the season (ep. 10 is the finale, innit?) to actually tell us who Species 10-C is? I fear they may leave us hanging in that regard.

Someone pointed out that Kovich has the wrong badge on in these previews, he's wearing a Picard 2399 insignia.
It looks like he's wearing the correct badge, but the commbadge he has lying in front of him does look suspiciously like the Picard ones.
Looks like a regular oval badge in all the pictures I've seen.
I'll always remember him is the guy in the pet shop in Best in Show. His interaction with Parker Posey is one of the funniest things in the movie.

Based on the screencaps it looks like more talking / deliberating / padding to buy time for the high-octane wrap up and final unpacking of the 10-C mystery over the last couple of episodes.
As always a lot rides on how they stick the landing. However, I believe this would have been a stronger season if they'd capped the season at 10 episodes (I know they are next season).

I've heard a lot of people mention that a season of a TV series would've be better with fewer episodes, and it usually makes a lot of sense to me. Trouble is, sometimes they're talking about a 24 episode season, sometimes 13 episodes, sometimes 10, sometimes 8 etc. It seems like the episode count isn't the real issue, it's how the writers are using those episodes. Prodigy's first season is 20 episodes long and the pacing has been fine so far in my opinion.
