They did a jump toward the end of the trailer. I slowed the video. It's very brief and not quite clear, but they seem to be in some of weird environment with strands and blobs of something, possibly whatever is protecting the aliens...

If the 10-C invasion fleet is eaten by Grudge at the end then this will be the best season of Discovery.

The pics make me think that the episode will be mostly Starfleet talking about what to do with the last 10 minutes being the Discovery actually crossing the galactic barrier and ending on a cliffhanger.
