I see at least two Federation starships in the shuttlebay scene. One of them has been described the "Halo sword ship".
And, in the scene with Philippa Georgiou, we can possibly see starships through the window.

Maybe They are keeping it a secret because They have completely redesigned DS-9.
They'd sorta have to, no? It was a falling apart POS most of the time during it's heyday, and that was 800+ years ago. They were looting derelicts for spare parts during the series, gotta imagine that's dried up. Could be a successor station for sure, but nothing but fanwank if they show anything that was around for Sisko. Only thing that could conceivably show up from the series would be Sisko himself, as depressing as that would be for him (and his family). Could be where he pops out after his nap with the Prophets...
Since Avery Brooks has pretty much shown NO interest in being The Sisko again, I think we can all safely assume that that is not going to happen.
I don't think the Producers would even contemplate replacing him, even if They did want to bring the character back.

It would stand to reason that if DS9 were to appear in this season it would be redesigned, no? Or does someone actually expect that that old Cardassian station lasted eight hundred years?
I expect that, but I also would like to at least see some of the original retained.
I would have expected Starfleet to eventually replace it with a station of their own. But this is Star Trek, so logical deduction doesn’t count.

I'm beginning to think that it's actually DS-9 (which has probably been expanded upon and changed) or at the very least in orbit near Bajor.

It's very exciting that HQ is not on Earth anymore. I was hoping that could mean Starfleet wasn't as ridiculously human-dominated anymore (no matter how small the coalition might be now), but alas, doesn't look like it.

I wonder what the status of the Terran Resistance is now?
To reveal that would require them to reveal whether the Burn occured in the mirror universe (and other world-lines) as well. Which could further indicate whether it was a natural or artificial phenomenon.
For the sake of discussion, Star Trek Online postulates that the Terran Resistance is victorious...and simply reinstates the Terran Empire as it was before. The Second Terran Empire lasts at least into the 29th century, as a faction from that time supports Admiral Leeta down in the 25th.
In the novels, there are many mirror universes. In at least one, the Terran Empire never fell (by the 2380s). In another, the Terran Resistance teamed up with other anti-Alliance rebellions, the Alliance split in a Klingon-Cardassian war, and the grandly named, democratic Galactic Commonwealth emerges in 2377. It's Starfleet even includes the free starship Enterprise.
DSC could follow either of those paths - semi-eternal evil Terran Empire, or the Fall of Terror leading into reformation and happy ending - or go a new way (Alliance gets replaced by some other evil empire).
I would expect some sort of huge station complex, with dozens or even hundreds of mini-stations all around, including the historic Deep Space 9 as a museum piece commemorating the ancient Dominion War and the valiant souls who perished. It would be dwarfed by everything else, and probably just be a pristine recreation with only life support and maybe actors around (a la the Star Trek Experience) to provide guided tours of the station as it existed 810 years prior.
