Spoilers Season 3 Episode 5 'Die Trying' promo

Any evidence that suggests Fed headquarters might be on Bajor or DS9? I don't remember seeing any hints about that, but have seen it suggested it might be.

The only ‘evidence’ is a uniform and a communicator that vaguely resemble the Bajoran uniform and symbol from DS9. It’s most likely just a coincidence, and Federation headquarters has nothing to do with Bajor or DS9. But I’ll be happy to be proven wrong.

The promo suggests it’s a space station with many docks ships, all hidden in a nebula.

We've had Lurians, Carasddians, Jem'Hadar, Trill so a lot of DS9 references. It would be cool if Federation Headquarters were on Bajor or a replacement Deep Space Nine.

Wow Founders and Kazon! That means the galaxy is very small now. I wanna see the Hirogens again!

As I partially written in Forget Me Not thread, I kinda expect to burst out laughing when it will be revealed that Federation´s legacy is now protected by the core of former Cardassian Union!

Nonsense. The galaxy isn't small.
There's plenty to do in an explored part of space/galaxy for one thing.
I think people and writers who use the term 'the galaxy is very small now' don't really understand what technologically advanced societies do when large enough time has passed.
I'm glad we're seeing things like this (if accurate)... it means the Federation has explored the galaxy (or a very huge chunk of it) and managed to keep tabs on the species in it.

What would be interesting is if "The Founders" and the Dominion got absorbed into the UFP after about 100-150 years after the Dominion War.

That would change things dramatically.

Including the Kazon...
If that list with the Founders and Kazon was about monitoring UFP members in distant parts of the galaxy...
100-150 years is certainly enough time for this to happen with the Dominion... even the Klingons didn't form an alliance until the late 23rd century really... and destruction of Praxis greatly 'helped' the Federation in getting on the good side with the Klingons... that and Enterprise-C sacrifice.

Something similar may have happened in the interim of course with the Founders and Kazon...
With the Kazon, it would be relatively 'simple' to render basic aid in the form of water... starting with those most in need and moving upwards (though I still find it a bit... inconceivable that a space-faring species can't produce water - even if the technology is stolen from the Trabe, the Kazon would have learned more than enough by then to be able to produce their own water).
