This sums up my reaction to it nicely. That's a lot of baggage for one episode which I am worried will get in the way of the new story, rather than progress it. I'm hoping that it is ready to handle it with the sort of strength we've seen the last fortnight.
My DVR is saying this episode is 1 hour 5 minutes (including commercials) so sounds like it's going to be longer then 44 minutes. I'm guessing 50 or so.
I can't wait for more L'rell, Tyler and Emperor Georgiou, myself. I enjoyed the Klingon stuff last season. Bring it on!
Looking forward to seeing both L'Rell and Ash again. I find Latif to be an exceptional actor, and I'm really interested to see what they do with the Klingons. I'm hoping for some elements of court intrigue.
They had fairly decent UST up until and through "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad." Liked them less once we went through the looking glass into the Mirror Universe.
I really liked Ash Tyler, and I thought Shazad Latif played that/those roles wonderfully. Definitely a talented actor as far as I'm concerned.
judging by the information we have from Insurrection, it depends if Tyler goes through puberty at the moment or not
The actor names in the opening credits don’t seem to be a fixed list this season (Wilson Cruz was listed for the first episode only). So it would be interesting to see if Shazad Latif or Michelle Yeoh will be listed as part of the main cast or as guest stars.
I think so. They are going the GoT route this season with the credits, which is a very bright idea in my book
That is how his true identity should have been reviled to us in season one. A human looking Ash going through Klingon puberty would have been TV gold
