When I was like 12 or something waaay back in the day I wrote a fanfic on an old monochrome PC where TNG crew goes back and finds that they are now mimicking, to a T, the 23rd century of Kirk's Federation.


It would still work.

Marvel did something similar in their Star Trek Quarterly comics in the mid-90's.

That was also one of the pitches for DS9's TOS anniversary episode.

That would have been quite an interesting alternate concept to explore for the anniversary episode. It would have taken a lot more set construction, though. Go fan films!

I think my plot was factions of the old mafia were at war with the planets version of "Starfleet."

It was like 1990-1991 or something. I was first. Haha.

I doubt the floppy computer it was on still functions, if its even still in my parents basement/attic/garage.

Definitely would like to check out that comic some time!
