Scruffy-looking untitled Han Solo film thread

Donald Glover was actually my first thought for young Lando. Michael B. Jordon would be another good possibility, but that's just my idea, I haven't seen his name actually mentioned anywhere.

Out of those two I'd much prefer Michael B. Jordon. He's a much better actor and is way more charismatic.

I watched a couple of interviews online and he seems charming and likable enough. He's a bit short at 5'9, but then he is supposed to be the young Han Solo so I guess they kind of have an excuse there. ;)

That makes Ehrenreich 2 inches shorter than Harrison Ford.

In the comics the marriage was sort of a sham thing, but she's been kind of a cool supporting character...and it's hardly the first time a character introduced in the comics has crossed over to other Star Wars media. I actually remember some speculation that she was Finn's mother last year! (Still can't rule that one out 100%, though I guess).

She's actually sort of an updated version in a sense of Salla Zend from the Dark Empire comics, who got expanded on in the old Han Solo books interestingly enough.

I liked Aphra a lot in the first Darth Vader collection, so I would love to see her. I would love to see her droids too, but I don't think they were active until the first DV, so that wouldn't work if they want to star consistent with the comics.

Not quite who I think of when I try to imagine a younger Billy Dee Williams, but I'm willing to give him a chance.

My hope is that "what you pulled" was more recent than when this film will be set. Perhaps related to the same misadventures that got him in trouble with Jabba. But seeing as the two were supposed to be in their early 30s in ESB, that doesn't leave much room in the timeline considering the ages of the actors being cast to play them.

So it's not April 1st. That makes me wonder. Can't Disney afford Michael B Jordan? Donald Glover is funny, but I'd only want to see him in comedy.

Han said "That was a long time ago, I sure he's forgotten about that".
"A long time ago" like say, the few years Han has been muddled up in the Rebellion? It seemed clear to me that Han was overstating things there. Trying to convince himself as much as anything else.

Also it couldn't have been *that* bad since Lando didn't seem to hold any grudge (even if he was at least partly play acting for Vader.)

Probably skipped out on a job or didn't pay off a dept or something. It's a safe bet Jabba wasn't the only person Han owed money to.

I haven't seen Glover in anything, but people seem to like him, so I'm trust he'll do a good job here.
